The Way of a Warrior (Rex x OC)

The Citadel

A/N: welcome to chapter 1. I do not own any of the Star Wars characters or places, but any other character most likely is mine. Hope you have a fun time. It will be shorter. and this whole book is dedicated to _iMnO_.

"Rex come up to the bridge," Anakin said into his comm. A few minutes later the blast doors swooshed open and in ran the clone captain. "Yes sir," Rex saluted. "Come on Rex you know I don't do formalities," Anakin reminded Rex in a playful tone. "General Skywalker if you are done playing games," Mace Windu interrupted unimpressed. "So what is the mission Generals," Rex asked, walking over the holo table. "We are sending generals Skywalker and Kenobi to the Citadel to find the only and best Grand Admiral the Republic has ever had," Plo Koon briefed. "You and Kenobi are to get in and out as fast as possible," Mace directed at Anakin while staring intently at no one in particular, but made everyone shift uncomfortably in the silence. "General Skywalker gather together a small group of men after the briefing," Ki Adi Mundi broke the unsettling silence. Anakin nodded and the briefing went on for another couple of minutes.

As Ahsoka caught up she could faintly hear the voices of the other Jedi talking about the recently assigned mission. "Hey I heard we are going to the Citadel," Ahsoka queried. "You two have much to talk about," Plo Koon stated as he and the other Jedi walked away down an adjoining hallway. "You're not going on this Mission Snips," Anakin said sternly, turning to face Ahsoka. "But master I-" Ahsoka started pleading. "No Ahsoka, I am serious you cannot go on this mission," Anakin interrupted. She jumped at the usage of her name. "Why," Ahsoka persisted. "Because it is too dangerous," the young General replied, moving closer to the hallway to the ships. "Come on Master please," Ahsoka tried again. "No and that is final," Anakin said, turning a corner leaving Ahsoka deep in thought.

-time skip to when they are getting out of being in carbonite-

"Hey master," Ahsoka said, stretching. "Hey Snips," Anakin replied, not putting the pieces together. "Is it carbon sickness? Cause I could swear that it is Ahsoka," Obi Wan said, rubbing his eyes just to check. "Your eyes are fine, it is Ahsoka's hearing that needs help," Anakin said. As one of the clones fell over after being encased in the carbonite. "Master Plo Koon said I could come," Ahsoka said smugly. "And why did no one tell me of this," Anakin raised his eyebrows. "You were already in carbonite," Ahsoka threw back at him.

Anakin crossed his arms with an unimpressed look on his face. "Come on kids time to go," Obi said tauntingly. The young Jedi sighed and went over to the older Jedi. "Ok men let's move out," Anakin said loud enough for everyone to hear as R2 and the reprogrammed battle droids flew to the Citadel. The two groups made their way to the entrance. The air smelled slightly acidic, it was thick and hot. As the team made it to the top of the cliff a droid patrol walked onto the platform and after a minute it two went back inside not knowing the citadel had some uprise guests coming. "Charger !" someone yelled as Charger fell to his death onto one of the mines. "So much for stealth," Anakin said as the group went inside. After a while they made it to Admiral's cell.

-Admiral's cell and POV before they got there-

"Welcome back, my sweet," the torture droid/person said as he gently ran the last amount of skin he had along her arm. The softer his touch, the harder his torture would be or what he thought was harder. He clenched his fist and gave her a nice hard punch to the stomach. She stood there still and unfazed. He got mad and started to spin his electro spinner (drill?) (no idea what the name is). "Now I will get rid of your last good eye, but if you tell me all of the Republic's battle plans I won't harm you...today," he said, moving the spinner closer to her left eye. Then the door swooshed open and Ahsoka glided through the air cutting up the droids and the torture droid as the others took out the rest of the clankers.

-no one's POV-

"Rex stand guard," Anakin said. Anakin freed the Admiral and Rex said, "all clear sir." "Ok come back in,'' Anakin said as he followed the Grand Admiral off the platform. "Admiral Spade, good to see you again," Obi Wan greeted. She nodded a hello. Rex got into the room and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. 

"Admiral Spade'' he recalled bumping into her in the hallway of the Jedi temple a couple years back.

And done. I will have pictures of all of the characters that you know now and some future ones done for chapter 2. Hope Y'all have a great day. Mandalorian season 3 tomorrow can't wait to watch it. Who else is hyped?
