"Midnight are you sure that it was them?" Lee asked. "No one else has a person named Phoenix in their ranks," Midnight replied. Leeanna sighed and Rex's comm went off. "Rex here," Rex said into his wrist. "Rex, hey this is Anakin, can you tell Midnight to come here," Anakin said, cutting the transmission. Midnight flew up to the palace to find the young general. "Over here," Anakin yelled from the hanger. Midnight landed and walked over to Anakin. "What is it you wanted to ask me?" Midnight asked. "When we saved the Grand Admiral Spade from the Citadel and got back to the Resolute she said to me 'everyone wants to be the enemy' what was that about," Anakin said, really confused. Midnight sighed and said, "because anytime she either got really angry or something extreme would happen, like the enemy overwhelming her, she would have a transformation," Midnight stopped letting Anakin soak up all the information he just acquired. "What do you mean 'transformation'," Anakin stroked his chin, coming up with some possibilities.

"Anakin, I am Valda Spade. Every single time I transformed or told anyone they assumed they couldn't trust me so they said 'Valda I can't believe you couldn't trust me enough to tell me sooner' I wouldn't see them again for a while and then I'd go into battle and see them on the opposing side." Anakin smiled and gave her a short hug. "We won't do that to you," he reassured her and put his hands on her shoulders whilst adding, "and Rex won't do that to you either.'

"Anakin!" Midnight light slapped his shoulder.

"What!? It is true! Isn't it?"

"Well yeah but still," Midnight said, her cheeks becoming a light shade of pink. "Midnight whoever they were, they weren't your actual friend. We won't abandon you because you can turn into someone else," Anakin looked directly into her eyes. "We won't," his voice had a hint of sadness in it letting Midnight know that he won't go anywhere without her. "Thanks," she replied. "Besides, I wish I could do that. I mean come on being two people," Anakin said with a smile on his face. "It is harder than it looks," Midnight said as Rex and her sisters walked into the hanger. "Night," Rex shouted. "Mm what is it," she responded as Rex got closer. "Hunter just fell off the roof," Rex said. "What the heck is he doing up there," Midnight flung her arms around. "Kiwano," Rex said, worried about painting his face. Midnight cracked her neck and fingers. She turned back towards rex and he saw the formation of her wings on her back. A cool breeze wafted into the room and ash formed in the air using the current to move over to Midnight, ash started to collect around her shoulders and wings slowly grew. "woah," Rex muttered. "I knew you wanted to see how it was done," Midnight smirked and leapt into the air. Rex smiled and tried to find the door to the roof. Midnight landed on the roof adding yet again another dent in it. "Hello Midnight I have changed since the last time we met," Kiwano slithered. He was right even though she could only see the back of his body she could tell that he grew more, shed his Warrior armor, and looked stronger. "What do you want," Midnight asked, trying to stay calm. Chaos, unbalance, power, and," he paused, "you." He turned around now and Midnight was slightly disturbed at what he had become. His eyes were rimmed with charcoal black that faded into a light, deep yellow (this yellow: #f7b728) which in turn faded into a ruby red ( this one: #cb2b01) and the middle of his eyes were slitted like a snake. His face had many more scars than last time. The smile that he wore showed his fanged teeth and when he went to lick his lips a serpent's tongue snaked out. "Looks like you had a run in with a snake of some kind," Midnight said, standing straight occasionally moving her arms. He grinned and his claws grew in but instead of being black they were navy blue with white streaks on them. "You have heard of the legends of the mystical pool," he said and the pieces in Midnight's mind clicked. "Yes but how did you find it?" Midnight quiered. "It called to me I felt its presence," Kiwano stood straight up but Midnight was still taller than him. "How? Only the people in direct bloodline to it can be called to it," Midnight said, not wanting to accept the fact that Kiwano could be associated with the people who created the mystical pool. "My great great great great great great grandfather and mother helped make the pool," Kiwano sneered. "How did you turn into that you would need something to meld with in the pool," Midnight pointed out. "I'm guessing a snake snuck in there before I got there and when I stepped in I melded with it," Kiwano said, getting bored of the conversation. He lunged forward and Midnight saw icy blue fire and electricity surrounding the flame coming right at her. Midnight clenched her fists and the red (this color: #980002) flame encircled her fists as well.
