A Dark Warrior

"Rex! Where's your girlfriend?" Fives yelled whilst shooting another droid. "She not my-" Rex started. "Yes she is Rex don't deny it," Fives said, being forced to move closer to his brother. "For the last time,"-bomb explodes and pieces of debris fly towards Rex and his platoon-"she is not my girlfriend,'' Rex said. "Yah you keep telling yourself that brother," Fives returned.

TIME SKIP TO WHEN FIVES IS ABOUT TO GET SHOT BY FOX

"Fives!" Midnight yelled, as Fox aimed his blaster at Fives. Midnight threw a dagger at the force-field mechanism and ran to Fives. Fox shot his blaster and Midnight pushed Fives away but she didn't make it in time. The blasts hit her side and she collapsed on the floor. Rex's eyes widened and he ran to her. "Midnight! Midnight," Rex slid the rest of the way to her. "Rex, I'm fine," Midnight clutched her side. "You are NOT ok," Rex said. Rex picked Midnight picked her up bridal style and carried her out of the hanger. "Rex, believe me I'm fine," Midnight said again. "You're still bleeding so no, you're not ok," he said as the other boarded a cab to the barracks and med bay. "Kix, where are you?" rex yelled into the med bay. Kix came running into the room and saw Rex carrying Midnight. He looked closer and saw Midnight with 5 blasts in her torso. "Kix, will you stop staring and help her," Rex said with a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Oh umm yes of course," Kix stammered. Rex set Midnight down on a medical bed and Kix asked, "Rex can you help me remove her armor." Rex started unclipping her chest plate and gauntlets.

MIDNIGHT'S POV

I felt my chest plate being removed and all my other armor. That fear returned and I put my hand atop Rex's. "Midnight you have to let me do this," Rex reassured her. "Rex, you can't take the rest of my armor off," I croaked. "Why not," Rex said back. I didn't answer and could feel myself slipping into unconsciousness.

REX'S POV

"Kix, she's unconscious," I said. "Did you finish removing her armor?" Kix asked.

"No"

"Can you please finish"

I turned her on her side and took off the last piece. "Now remove the top on her blacks. I have to analyze a vial of blood," Kix told me. He removed the blood he needed and I started on the shirt.

NO ONE'S POV

Rex unzipped the front of her shirt and inspected the blast wound. As he was looking at the wound when he saw a long scar starting from her upper left rib cage down across her torso and disappeared under the waistband of her right leg. Rex's eyes widened when he saw many more scars (not as long as the one I described) littered all over her torso. He flipped her over to check the other side of her torso. When he had removed her shirt all the way he saw two scars covering each shoulder blade. He brushed his hand over the scars as Kix RAN into the room screaming. Kix startled Rex and Rex's hand brushed against Midnight's blaster wounds.

MIDNIGHT'S POV

A soft fabric brushed against a tender spot on my back as I started waking up.

"Ouch," I breathed softly. As I regained consciousness a cold breeze flew across my back.

NO ONE'S POV

Rex pulled his hand away from her back. "What! Is! Happening!" Midnight yelled. "Calm down, Night," Rex put a hand on her shoulder. Midnight flipped herself over and she sat up. "Midnight take it easy," Kix said, walking over to her with the vial of blood still in his hands. "What is that," Midnight pointed at the vial. "Your blood why," Kix asked, confused. "You know then," Midnight looked at the floor mentally scolding herself. "What do you mean?" Kix asked. "That.."-she let out a breath- " that I am a Warrior." "Yes, why is that such a bad thing?" Kix asked. Rex just stood there confused. "Rex, you look like a squirrel that misplaced its nut,'' Kix said, turning to look at the confused captain. "I just have no idea what you guys are talking about,'' Rex said again. "Rexster, remember when I told you I am not from any planet," Midnight said. "yeah Night i remember," Rex said sitting down on the medical bed. "I'm from the planet where the Warriors live,'' Midnight said, slumping her shoulders. "I know that but who are they,'' Rex said again. "They are the people who are sworn to protect the galaxy from any harm, but since my mother became queen she has abused her power and killed anyone who dared leave and protect the galaxy," Midnight stood infuriated. She looked back at Rex and Kix. "does that mean you are a heiress of the throne," kix asked. Midnight sternly nodded and kix put the pieces together. "I've studied your people in depth and I know what you can do," Kix said. Midnight just smiled and the only thing she said was, "Why do you think I have the scars on my shoulder blades?" Kix smiled and Rex stood up. He and Midnight embraced and Rex said," Midnight, I love you. You know that."

"Of course i do"

"Sorry to break this happy moment but can we go to your planet,'' Kix asked. "Only if you bring soldiers. Cause like i said i am a wanted soldier for 'treason', " Midnight said. "Oh ok,'' Kix said. "But we can sneak in the same way I snuck out," Midnight suggested. Kix's eyes widened and he dropped the vial he was holding.

TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY ARE IN HYPERSPACE

"Ok now the plan is simple. We are going to land and board the ship. That should take around 30 seconds tops. We'll give them the correct entry codes and enter the castle one by one. Does anyone have any questions?" Midnight asked. "Good. move out!" Midnight yelled.

Rex, Fives, Kix, Anakin, and Midnight all boarded an odd looking ship and flew into hyperspace. (the ship looked like an older model of the Ghost) Once they made it to the hidden landing platform and got on the ship that would take them to the capital city. "Are we almost there?" Fives whined.

"Almost"

Fives ran into the other room and Rex entered the cockpit. "Hey. I'm guessing we're almost there by the excitement on Fives face," Rex sat down in the copilot's seat and looked at Midnight. Midnight looked over and pushed the autopilot button. "Rex, there's something you need to know," Midnight said, taking Rex's hands. "Yeah what is it?" Rex asked. "Do you know anything about my people?" she asked. "Only the things you and Kix were talking about and the things Kix told me separately. Why is there something wrong," Rex asked, growing concerned. "Did he ever mention to you what a Dark Warrior is," Midnight struggled to say. "No," Rex responded. "Ok. then come with me," Midnight said standing up. "Where are we going," Rex asked but didn't have time to explain. Midnight led him down a hallway and into a room. "Ok this is my room on board the ship"-rex nodded- "a Dark Warrior is a Warrior born evil. Sort of like the Sith but they are born that way. They have a special icy blue magic with electric shocks surrounding it," Midnight finished biting her lip for Rex's response. "Why are you telling me this, Night?" Rex asked, scooting closer to her.

"Because my mom is a Dark Warrior."

Anakin: soo should I leave or stay or what

Padme: we should leave

Rex: General remember that thing

Anakin: oh yeah bye

SWTCWNerd: wait what thing

Anakin: you have your secrets and i have mine

SWTCWNerd: you read ahead didn't you?

Anakin: I have to go

SWTCWNerd: mmmmhmmmm right
