The past becoming the present

"What the heck is this," Matilda said, showing it to Midnight. "What is-oh my gosh. Where is Fives!" Midnight screamed. "Hey hey hey Night what's wrong. It looks like a really good animation that Fives made cause I know you'd never do that...would you?" Matilda said, putting the datapad sown. "That wasn't an animation, M, that was real life," Midnight said, taking a deep breath. "Oh, OH," Matilda said, realizing what she could do with this information. "Don't you dare get any ideas," Midnight said. "Fine," Matilda said. "I need to go," Midnight said. She ran out of the training room to Fives. "Fives you piece of crap! I. Will. Tear. You. To. Shreds!" Midnight vented while running down the hallway. Midnight spotted Fives running down the hallway and disappearing around a corner. She caught up with him and pinned him against the wall. "Promise me you won't do anything like that again," Midnight said sternly. Fives nodded his head in fear and Midnight cooled down.

Midnight went to find Rex. When she found him he was talking with some of his brothers. "Hey me and my sisters are going to walk around in the village, do you wanna come," Midnight asked, trying to find something to do. "Sure I'll be there in a little," Rex responded and Midnight went to tell her sisters the plan. "Ok we are leaving in about 1 hour," Midnight said. Rex nodded his head and Midnight walked away. "Rex come on bro you gotta do it," Fives said lightly hitting Rex's shoulder. "But-" Rex started. "No buts, you have to ask her out," Fives said. "Fine, when do you think I should ask her, Fives," Rex asked.

"I'd say about tomorrow," Fives said after pretending to think because of course he had this all planned out. Fives spotted Kasia walk into the hanger and called her over. "Yeah what do you want," Kasia asked, jogging over. "Should Rex ask Midnight out tomorrow?" Fives smiled like he was planning something. "Yes of course Rex you have to," Kasia said. "Oh fine I will, but on one condition," Rex said pointing a stern finger at Fives. "Name it," Fives said. "No spying on us," Rex answered. "Aw fine," Fives said reluctantly.

TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY ARE WALKING AROUND

Midnight had wandered from the rest of the group when she found herself at a dead end. "Well well well what do we have here," a voice called from behind her. She turned around to see 2 men and 3 women walking towards her. "I don't know, she looks like a scraggly villager," one of the women laughed standing next to the man. Midnight stayed quiet thinking of that to do.

"Awww you scared," the man grinned evilly and chuckled slightly. Midnight clenched her fists and her teeth. "She looks mad. Doesn't she Phoenix," the man said to the woman next to him. "She looks sooo scary," the woman named Phoenix said sarcastically. "Come here we won't hurt you," the man said. "Much," Phoenix mumbled. They started closing on her again and once the man got close enough Midnight took a step forward. At this time Midnight was not at full height; she stood up straight and towered over the man. He took a fist to her head and made her fall over onto the ground. "What can't you talk," the man said. Midnight stood and decked him. Phoenix took a step back and so did the others. Midnight grabbed Phoenix by the shirt collar and threw her against the other wall. Midnight turned to face the other three and knocked two out. "Still won't talk, I see," he said, not scared at all. Midnight took a step forward and threw a jab at his head. He fell to the ground, the sword dropping out of his hand.

"I'm not much of a talker"

Midnight found her way back to the group and explained why she was missing. "Do you have an idea of who they were?" Kara asked, not really concerned. "Yeah yeah yeah we can get to the boring stuff later but first I think Rex has something to ask you Midnight," Leeanna said pushing her way past her sisters. Rex looked up and just stood there. "Come on man, ask," Lee said.

Rex gulped and pulled Midnight away from her sisters. "Rex, what is so important that you have to drag me like 20 feet away from everyone else," Midnight asked, confused and Rex let go of her arm. "I..um..I..uhh," Rex let out a breath, "I am not good at this. Would you go on a date with me tomorrow?" "What?! Of course, Midnight hugged him. "Rex do you like meilooruns?" Midnight asked. "Oh um I've never had one," Rex said, scratching the back of his head. "What!? You have never had one. Rex come on you gotta experience life sometimes," Midnight paid for two of the fruits and handed one to Rex. Rex bit down on the fruit and bit off a nice chunk. "This is amazing," he smiled. Midnight let out a genuine laugh for the first time in a long time.

Then a sleek black bird began to dive down headed for Midnight. "Midnight behind out," Rex shouted pointing at the bird. Midnight turned around and saw the bird mid-dive. It slowed down when it spotted Midnight and Rex standing in the street. Midnight put out her arm and it landed. "Hiya boy," Midnight talked to the bird. It squawked and she gave it the piece of her fruit. "Midnight what are you doing that could kill you," Rex said. "Relax Rex, this is my bird, we share the same color of feathers," Midnight said. The bird stretched out his wings and so did Midnight. The outer layer of feathers were black while the inner layer was blood red. The bird flew off with some fruit and the pair walked back to her sisters. "Soo how did it go," Leeanna asked. "Yeah it was good," Midnight responded. Leeanna smiled and Kara brought up the question she asked before.

"Who were those fighters," Kara said looking up at her older sister she admired.

"Blixer's Fighters"

A/N: hello. I know it is Thursday but I forgot yesterday and so I am doing to today. He is coming and it will be fun. Tell me what you thought I'd love to hear what you think.

Fives: I thought it was fun

SWTCWNerd: Cool is that you as a space cowboy

Hardcase: Yup can I have a teaspoon of sugar

SWTCWNerd: Come on and if you get a sugar high go bother someone else

Fives: Not me!
