Escaping The Citadel

She cracked a slight smile and opened her mouth as a voice encryptor came out. "Ok let's move,'' Valda said, moving out of the room. "How are you still alive?'' Rex asked, walking next to her. "After the explosion I was blown into the forest and no one found me," she said remembering how she got captured. "Obi Wan split off and we will meet back at the ship you brought," Valda changed the subject as Anakin and his group were running off in an opposite direction.

As Anakin's group made their way down the halls a tall gray droid with glass jars (about the size of a mason jar) imbedded into his body. "Stand back and don't let it grab a hold of you," Valda yelled. "What is that thing?" a clone yelled, shooting it. "It is a new assassin droid Sorbek has been working on, called The Immobilizer," Valda said dodging a blow from the assassin droid. "Get in here," Anakin yelled from inside a storage cell.

Anakin Force pushed the droid a couple meters away so everyone could get into the room. "Close the door," Valda yelled while she was still in the hallway. The door wooshed closed and Valda barely made it in. "What is that droid supposed to do?" another clone asked. "The Immobilizer is a brand-new assassin droid that Sorbeck designed for the Separatists. The droid basically wraps its hand around the victim's arm, leg, or waist and immobilizes them," Valda explained.

Oh, was all that came out of their mouths. Valda turned around and saw that this was not only a storage closet but a storage closet for all her weapons that they took when they captured her. A smile worked its way onto her face and she walked over to one of the crates. She opened it and inside were an unholy amount of weapons. "Ok boys load up," she said. They had put some weapons that were on the floor into the crate and closed it up.

As they were dragging the crate towards the door, a bang resounded through the room.

The Immobilizer was coming in and they were sitting ducks in the room.

Obi Wan's group slowly made their way down the corridor. Then an electric wall started after them. The group jumped into the adjoining corridors, but Longshot didn't make it. As they moved on they came to a ventilation shaft that led right to the Separatist archive. "Get your ascension cables out men, we are going up," Obi Wan said. As they made their way up Obi thought 'this is too easy.' At that moment Sorbeck had realized that they were in there and activated protocol 9. The shaft started to close in different sections and trap them in there.

"Move or you'll be cut in half," the Jedi master yelled to his troops. They dropped down as the security doors started to close, but one trooper didn't get pulled up to his brothers in time and was cut in half.

Cody found Obi Wan's lightsaber lying next to him on the door not with Obi Wan. "Sir your lightsaber dropped down here," the commanding clone officer said to Obi Wan through his comm. "Ok Cody, ignite it and cut a hole in the ceiling as best as you can,'' Obi said to the amazed clone. Once the 'hole' was cut Obi Wan jumped through and landed gracefully next to his commander who had his lightsaber hooked on his belt. Cody handed him the light saber as a comm came through on Obi Wan and Cody's comms.

"General, commander, a tall droid has infiltrated the part of the shaft Saw and I are in. We need assista-" the line was cut short. They looked at each other and commed the other compartments. "Troopers get out your electro-blades and start cutting the ceilings of the compartments," Obi Wan as the first pair made their way into his compartment. Once everyone got out of the shaft, they looked for the information they needed. As they were making their way out Sorbeck and his escort were coming in. "General Kenobi I presume. You are now my prisoners," Sorbeck said, grabbing the lightsaber off the Jedi master's belt.

"Everyone grab a lid and protect yourselves with it," as she grabbed a lid herself. The droid broke through the blast door and looked directly at Valda and said, "you." "What about me, idiot?" she said, running at the droid and jumping, like a Jedi, onto its shoulders. She smashed the lid on its head and the smack temporarily disabled it, but only temporarily. "Run !" she yelled at the troopers and Jedi. They ran down the hallway putting distance between them and the Immobilizer. "Sorbeck's command center is just up ahead. The droid isn't allowed to come back here. Which is good, at least for us," Valda Spade muttered in the last part. The door to the command center opened and they walked in. "You, how did you get out?" Sorbeck exclaimed in disbelief. "Well for one your security is terrible," she said walking up to him. He scowled and aimed a blaster at her head. "Don't move or I'll shoot," he said. "I won't move, but they will," she grinned as a blast zipped past her shoulder and hit Sorbeck's blaster, disabling it. He made some hand movements and droids came out of their hiding places surprising everyone except Valda.

"Shoot the girl," he said, furious. They shot and she ducked. The blasts found themselves right in the circuits of the droids that fired them. Valda grabbed Sorbeck's throat and started to choke him. "Now you are going to tell me how to get out of this dang place or you could blow up with it," Valda threatened.

"I will serve the Separatists until the end," he choked out. "Well then this will be the last time you ever walk in this Galaxy again," she killed him clenching her hand into a fist. He collapsed on the ground dead. Without a word Valda ran over to the controls and extracted all of the information out of the archive and turned around.

"Let's get out of this pitiful place."

"I agree," Anakin started running after her. They got to the rendezvous and the Jedi picked them up. Once on the ship Anakin asked, "Are you a Jedi?" "No, I never was and never will be," she said coldly.

"Here's one thing you have to learn about me and learn quickly: everyone wants to be my enemy."

She turned and walked away.
