AT THE BASE WHEN ON HER TRIP

"Ok ok ok ok," Fives said, "we need the ultimate plan to get Rex to ask Midnight out on a date." Kasia nodded her head in agreement. "What are we going to do though," Fives wondered, stroking his chin. "Oh! I got it," Kasia said. "What," Fives said, wanting to know what she was thinking. "There is a stream in the woods where Midnight and I used to play when we were little," Kasia said Fives formulating a plan in her head. "Ok so we can go over and eset up some spotchka, glasses and since Midnight likes to climb we can oil the rock moss," Fives devised. "Yeah that is good," Kasia said. They planned a couple more things and then their date came to an end. "Ok see ya," Kasia said. "Love you," Fives said. Kasia stopped right at the door just as Fives said that. "Do you mean that," Kasia asked. "Of course I do," Fives said. Kasia blushed and then walked out the door.

TIME TO SKIP TO WHEN MIDNIGHT GETS BACK

"Rex, Midnight can you come here we wanna tell you something," Fives said into his comm. When the pair had reached Fives's room and walked in they saw Kasia and Fives sitting on his bed with an evil look on their faces. "What the heck," Rex said, jumping back next to Midnight. "Rexster, don't worry about them being weird," Midnight said, putting a hand on his back. They walked farther into the room and Fives and Kasia dragged them out to the woods. "We are spending a night out here," Fives blurted out. "Okkkaaaayyyyy," Rex said suspiciously. When they had finished setting up camp Fives and Midnight went exploring into the lush forest. "Oh oh oh" Fives said repeatedly pointing to a break in the trees. "Fives, what is it?" Midnight asked. "Look over there," Fives said, turning Midnight to see the clearing. "OoooooOooo cool," she said. They kept walking towards the clearing. When they got there Fives immediately pushed Midnight into the stream. "Hey!" Midnight exclaimed. She grabbed Fives's legs and pulled him in with her. Fives scrambled out and ran back to camp. "Hey, where are-" she started. After being in the water awhile she climbed on the rocks that were nearby.

FIVES POV

I ran away from Midnight and thought, 'Now for Rex.' I got back to camp and started screaming Rex's name. "Rex! Rex! Rex! Where are you?!" "What is Fives?" Rex asked, stepping out of his tent in the bottom half of his armor. 'Perfect' I thought to myself. "Come here I need to show you something" "Ok," Rex said cautiously. I grabbed him by the arm and practically dragged him through the thick forest. The clearing was well away from camp which was a good thing. "Here we are Rex," I said.

NO ONE'S POV

Midnight looked up and saw two shapes but she couldn't make out what they were. She felt her foot slide out from under her and she squeezed her eyes shut. She expected to feel the hard ground below her but she didn't. Opening her eyes she saw a perfectly sculpted chest covered by GAR issued blacks. When she looked up she saw none other than the Captain of the 501rst. "Oh umm Admiral" Rex said, his face turning different shades of red. Midnight 's face turned red and she placed a hand on his chest. "It's fine Rex," Rex let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding.

MEANWHILE AT THE EDGE OF THE CLEARING

Fives and Kasia sat on a large rock with spotchka in glasses. Fives put up his fist and Kasia bumped his with her own. They stayed there watching the whole thing happen in front of their eyes.

THE NEXT DAY

"Midnight how was it with Rex yesterday?" Kasia said, bumping her shoulder on Midnight's arm. "How do you know about that?" Midnight asked. "Fives and I watched you two," Kasia responded. 'Great,' Midnight thought. "It was fine, I kinda enjoyed it," Midnight said. Kasia subtly grinned and ran off. "Weird," Midnight mumbled. Midnight walked into her room and was met with a surprise. "Rex! What the heck is wrong with you?" Midnight exclaimed, almost throwing her datapad at him. Rex started laughing really hard and Midnight just chuckled. "Now what are you doing in my room," Midnight wanted to know. "No reason," Rex said, smiling and standing up. "Right. Rex I know you better than this what are you doing in my room," Midnight asked again. "Waiting for you," Rex responded, scratching the back of his head.

"Fine, be stubborn, I need to find something," Midnight said walking past Rex to her wardrobe. Rex sat on her bed and waited for her to be done getting whatever she needed. Midnight turned around and started walking out of her bedroom with a long piece of metal. She felt something wrap around her wrist and she was pulled back to the doorway. "Interesting situation we are in," Rex said face to face with Midnight. Midnight shook her head in slight amusement. "What are you getting at, Rexster?" Midnight asked. Rex just smiled and kept holding on to her. "Rex I need to go," Midnight said trying to pull out of Rex's grasp, but he had a firm grip on her arm. "Where are you going," Rex asked. "I am going to spar with my sisters," Midnight said, shifting her weight to one foot. "Ok," Rex said, letting go slightly. "Thank you," Midnight said as Rex let go completely. Midnight took one step away then turned around and grabbed the back of Rex's neck.

MIDNIGHT'S POV

I turned around and pulled Rex towards me. His lips came crashing down on mine and I closed my eyes.

REX'S POV

I went flying towards Midnight and our lips collided. My eyes blew wide open and I froze. 'Ahhh what is happening? I don't know how to do this! Is there a specific way or a-a manual? What the actual heck is going on!' I shouted in my head.

FIVES POV

I ran around the palace like a madman trying to find Midnight's room. I finally had to ask someone where Midnight's room was. "Excuse me, do you know where midnight's room is?" I asked a maid and I had to ask the grumpy one.

(there is always a grumpy maid in a palace or mansion)

"Down the hall, up one flight of steps, down 5 doors and it will be the one on your left," maid huffed, batting me lightly with her broom. I followed her directions to the letter and made my way down the hall to where I saw Rex grab Midnight's arm and they were face to face. 'Are they going to do it?' I thought. I took out my camera and started filming. They talked for a little and Rex let go of Midnight and I kept filming just in case. Midnight whipped around and she locked lips with Rex. 'My captain kissing an Admiral of the GAR?' I thought, 'I need to tell someone.' I stopped the recording and I ran down the hallway to find one of my brothers (Not Dogma).

NO ONE'S POV

Midnight broke the kiss and she touched foreheads with Rex. "I love you," Midnight said, standing up straight again. Midnight walked away and Rex stood there with a red face, unmoving.

SHIFT CAMERA TO FIVES BUT NOT HIS POV

"Kasia! Kasia!" Fives shouted down the hallway. "What is it, Fives?" Kasia asked. "Just watch," Fives said, showing her the video. "What!?" she exclaimed. Fives nodded his head vigorously.

BACK TO MIDNIGHT

"Hey Matilda," Midnight said walking into the training room. "Ready?" Matilda asked. "Oh yeah," Midnight said. Midnight gripped the metal rod and swung it around to her sister's torso. Matilda blocked and brought the other side down at Midnight and Midnight blocked.

AFTER AWHILE WHEN THEY WERE NICE AND SWEATY

"Yield," Midnight ground out, the rod pointed right at Matilda's throat. "I yield," her sister said. They sat down on a nearby bench and Matilda got a text on her datapad from Fives.
