The small parcel had arrived two full days before Valentine's Day and, as promised, Harry has yet to open it. Louis made him wait until the actual holiday so that they could open their gifts together on Skype.

Tapping his fingers impatiently against his laptop's keyboard, Harry's eyes stay locked on the screen, waiting for his boyfriend to come online. He is itching to see not only what has been sent to him, but also what Louis' reaction will be to his letter and gift.

Boyfriend.

Wow. Harry still can't believe that Louis is actually his boyfriend, that he's actually managed to date his crush. That never happens! But he's ecstatic that it has happened to him. He doesn't know how he would survive if Louis had never forgiven him. Louis is his sunshine, his world, his teddy bear, his angel, his best friend, his boyfriend. He's definitely learned from his mistakes, and he knows that he will never let this precious boy slip through his fingertips again.

Harry snaps back to reality upon receiving the call he has been expecting all day. Within seconds, he's greeted by Louis' smiling face.

"Hi, Froggie! I missed you." He pouts, tilting his head slightly to the left. Harry's heart practically falls out of his chest.

"I've missed you, too, Teddy Bear. But I've been waiting for ages for you to get your present, so I think you should open it already."

Louis laughs, but obliges. He disappears for a few seconds, attempting to reach for the box while still staying on his bed. Somehow, he manages to do it, and sits back up with a grin, the box in his lap and a pair of scissors in his hands. Cutting through the thick masking tape, he tugs open the flaps of the cardboard as Harry looks on with a wide grin. It's quiet as Louis reads the two page letter, a swelling in his heart appearing as he does so. He loves Harry so much.

"Thank you," he whispers when he finishes, holding the letter to his chest, then tucking it under his pillow. He decides that he will read it every night just before he goes to sleep.

The next thing he pulls out is a sandwich bag filled with small, individually wrapped Mounds bars. Louis giggles, immediately tearing the wrapper off of one and biting into it.

"You're the sweetest," he says with a mouthful. "But not as sweet as this chocolate." Harry rolls his eyes, but continues to watch his boyfriend with a fond expression.

The last thing, folded neatly at the bottom, is Harry's hoodie, the largest one he had. He picked the biggest one because he really wanted to see how big it would be on Louis if it was already slightly large on him. He doesn't regret a thing as soon as Louis slips it over his head, the tips of his fingers not even visible as the sweater seems to swallow him.

Louis wraps his arms across his torso, trying to almost feel as though he is holding Harry while only holding his sweatshirt. He buries his nose in the fabric, a soft smile on his face.

Harry wishes he could kiss Louis right now.

But Louis is a thousand miles away, so all he can do is place his hand on the screen, on top of Louis', who is doing the same. They can only pretend that they are together.

"Your turn now," Louis says.

Harry happily picks up the little package from it's spot beside him, and grabs a pair of scissors from his desk. He slowly reads over the letter, trying to memorize the flow of Louis' writing and the beautiful words printed carefully on the page. He then pulls a small book out and, flipping through it, discovers that it's a homemade coupon book.

"It's kind of cheesy, I know-"

"No gift you ever give me will be more cheesy than me sending you a hoodie, Lou," Harry says softly, skimming over each coupon. They each say something different. One says 'free kisses', another says 'cuddles', and another says 'movie date.' Harry didn't think it was possible for Louis to get any cuter, and then he sends him this book.

"There's one more thing," Louis says almost bashfully.

He's right. Inside is an index card that reads 'I'll hold you again March 27th!' Harry's eyes widen.

"Are you serious?"

Louis nods excitedly. "My mom, Liam, and I are coming down for spring break! We even booked a hotel near you!"

"Hotel? But you could just stay here."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah! We've got a big room upstairs that we use for guests."

Both boys can't seem to stop grinning, knowing that in just over a month they'll be in each other's arms, hold hands, cuddle, and spend every second together once more.

"That's just after our two month anniversary, so I can take you out for a special dinner," Harry says, adding the date to his phone's calendar.

"You don't need to do anything special for me," Louis blushes.

"Of course I do."

"Harr-"

He's cut off by Eloise bursting into Harry's room. Louis jumps, startled, but Harry groans, used to it by this point.

"Can't I have one Skype call with my boyfriend spent alone?" Harry hits his friend in the face with a pillow, however she's too ecstatic to care.

"I have news!"

"I know you can fit 37 blueberries in your mouth at once. You told me yesterday."

"No," Eloise whines. "This is real news. Kat said I can tell you now."

"Holy crap, did you get her pregnant?"

Eloise gives her idiot best friend a slap upside the back of his head. Louis yells at her to be careful; he can't have his boyfriend getting too hurt before he visits.

"I can't get another girl pregnant! Especially not when we're this far apart."

"What do you want then? Can't you see I'm busy?"

"Maybe if you'd quit interrupting me, I'd actually be able to get out what I want to say." Harry sighs overdramatically. "Right, so she sent me this really beautiful letter and a small scrapbook for Valentine's Day and in the letter, she asked me to be her girlfriend, and I said yes. Okay, bye." And with that, she stands up to leave as both boys' mouths drop open.

"WHAT?" Harry screams, shooting to the other side of the bed to grab Eloise's wrist and stop her from walking out.

"Yeah, I've got a girlfriend now. And you've got a boyfriend who's probably a bit mad at me for interrupting. I'll be in the kitchen when you're finished, most likely eating your food." She tugs her arm from his grasp and disappears.

Harry returns to his initial spot on his head bed, the laptop beginning to burn his thighs. He's desperately trying not to have a dance party over this information. He has shipped Keloise since day one.

"Poor Niall," Louis laughs. "The only single and alone one in our group."

"What about Liam?"

"He met some girl at work he's really into. Like, he's been head over heels for her since the first day they talked."

"Like I was the first day I saw you," Harry smirks. Louis blushes and hides his face in the hoodie.

"I love you so much, Harry. So much."

"I love you more, Sunshine."

The couple continue to talk until they hear a loud crash and Eloise scream. They exchange hurried goodbyes before Harry hangs up, running to go check on his best friend. Turns out that she was playing Just Dance on the Wii, when she accidentally tripped over the coffee table, smacking her head against the tile.

Looks like they'll be spending Valentine's Day in the hospital.
