For the third time in three weeks, it had snowed outside the Buckhorn.
And it was beautiful.
After their initial reluctance during the Teddy Bear Olympics (because of all the snow), some Bears got pretty excited about going outside.
Ralphie asked about making snowmen. Andy, the intrepid reporter, wrote a story. All-seeing Madame Zima watched everything, serene. And Dakota cooed, "I love snow!"
Bonkers was really animated. (He was always animated.) "Snow is great!" he proclaimed.
Of course, he was Bonkers.
Some bears were not excited. Vickie (surprisingly--no one knew she didn't like the cold!) and others wanted to stay warm. Biker Raj complained that he couldn't drive.
JB sniffed, "In my day, you couldn't tell day or night, snow or no snow, down in the mines!"
A delegation asked Randy to do something. "Can't you control the weather?" they demanded.
Randy smiled. "It looks like Nature is just having fun." No one knew what to say to that.
After a puzzled silence, Madame Zima spoke up. "Who wants to get beat at pinochle?" she challenged. In a flash, three games got started.
"Hee, hee," Randy chuckled. He loved to have fun, too.
