Vicki, Bonkers and Brandy got all the Christmas decorations from the attic. It was that time of the year—to decorate the Buckhorn!
All the Bears gathered to help.
The Buckhorn was in a forest, so there was no need for a whole tree inside.
But everyone liked to put up green garlands and sprigs, as well as all the beautiful ornaments.
Poor JB—he got hung up and, for a minute or two, everyone thought that he was an ornament!
Randy looked great in his new hat. He was puzzled, though—everyone kept saying he looked like a guy (he'd never heard of) who did something like astral traveling one night every year.
"What's the big deal?" he thought to himself. After all, he astral traveled back to Queuebyccx all the time.
This year, lights were strung all around. Ralphie got to throw the switch in a darkened Buckhorn.
"Ooooooh!" echoed like a chorus throughout the Saloon.
For several days, eating chocolate and singing carols replaced sarsaparilla and pinochle. And no one wanted to go to bed!
"Too much fun," yawned Shirley. "But worth it!" yawned Kabonga, smiling.
