"Time to rake the leaves," announced Vickie one afternoon. She grabbed Ralphie and JB.
It was Ralphie's first time, and he was excited.
"I feel kidnapped," grumbled JB.
"Why couldn't the leaves stay where they were a couple weeks ago—on the trees?" he continued.
She handed each Bear a rake. Ralphie got to it right away.
"It's too big!" muttered JB.
As they got going, things proceeded pretty well.
"Wheee!" exclaimed Ralphie, jumping into a leaf pile. JB was already face down in the pile.
"I love this leaf blower!" yelled JB, sounding a little like Dakota.
"It's getting late," said Vickie. "Let's bag them up!"
JB was astonished. "I thought we were done!" he exclaimed.
