Everyone in the Buckhorn was watching curling at the Olympics, glued to the TV.
Lorenzo Parducci had brought along his signature wines to supplement the sarsaparilla.
When Lorenzo had come to Silver City, he not only started making good wine; he was able to find his long-lost uncle, JB.
Having his nephew around seemed to mellow JB a bit.
However, Lorenzo had a surprise up his sleeve. He still liked to do cheerleading part-time, which is why he always kept his festive and patriotic clothes on.
When the women's team beat Russia 9-3, he jumped up, did a cartwheel, and yelled, "Kabonga!"
Everyone looked on, amazed.
"So that's where you get your nickname," exclaimed Shirley.
"Kabonga! I love that name," purred Dakota.
"Ah-doh-di-o-doh!" agreed Clancy.
After enthusiastically watching curling (and trying the wine), everyone was a little tired and went back to their pinochle games.
After all, watching the Olympics takes a lot of energy!
