In my day, girls didn't do manly things like mining, or swimming, or cross country, or soccer....
They did womanly things...like taking care of us menfolk.
Whenever we said that, they smiled and said, "Aren't you cute!"...
And then they'd stomp us near to death for saying something so stupid!!
And that's who we were: Dumb-as-stumps, with broken bones and brains, for always talkin' nonsense...
And we liked it! We loved it!!
