Every Spring was great around the Buckhorn. Flowers seemed to bloom almost everywhere--beautiful!
Of course, they looked beautiful up close, too.
Randy and a few bears went for a picnic underneath the big rose bush.
They had so much fun, they decided to make it a progressive picnic—not with different food, but with different flowers! After the roses, they went to the irises....
Then they went to the privet hedge, where the flowers filled the air with their intoxicating scent. And with honeybees!
Brandy and Shirley started to get a little drunk on the aroma.
But not Dakota. "Honeybees!" she cried. "I love honeybees! I'm going to sit and watch them."
And she did.
