Sunday, April 5
The Dwarves were at standing by the town line, debating whether or not they were still trapped in Storybrooke or if there were some other side-effects to crossing the line because magic was back.
In the end, Sneezy was picked to test it. When he crossed the line he started shaking as a magical force took over him.
The town's people were cleaning up the wraith mess and trying to find their loved ones. It was a mess. Everyone was scared and confused. Ruby had taken it upon herself to be the main coordinator and was informing everyone gathered in front of the town hall of where to go: the front table was for those looking for loved ones; Dr. Hopper was available for counselling; the school was providing shelter in case the wraith had damaged a house.
In the meantime, David was talking with Regina at her house. He knocked on the door and let himself in when Regina opened
"Tell me about this" he said, showing her the broken hat
"Surprised you don't have armed guards around the clock" Regina remarked
"Don't need them" David said smirking "We both know if you step outside, there's a line a mile long for your head"
"Who's going to risk coming at me?" asked Regina
"Take your chances then" David said "But I think that wallpaper trick was an anomaly. If you had your abilities back, this town would be charcoal by now" he pointed out "You're having problems with magic, aren't you? Right now, the only thing keeping you alive, is that Henry wished it" he told her before showing her the hat again "Now, this"
"It's the hat that pulled your loved ones away" Regina answered
"Well, where did you get it?" he asked
"I've long since forgotten" Regina lied "You know what? Maybe you should be less concerned with hats and more concerned with taking care of my son" she told him
"Oh, because you took such great care of him" David said
"I will not listen to child care lectures from a man who put his daughters in a box and shipped them to Maine" Regina remarked
"Okay, listen, I need my family" David admitted "There's magic here now, there will have to be ways to follow them"
"Follow them where? Into a sucking airless void?" Regina asked "And good luck getting magic to work, because as you said, you'd be charcoal"
"Oh, frustrated, are we?" he teased her "Serves you right. You've earned every bit of this"
"Keep on baiting me, Charming" Regina told him "Right now I don't have magic and I don't have my son, but when I get one, I get the other. And you don't want to be around when that happens" she warned him
"If you have to use magic to keep your son, you don't really have him" David pointed out before leaving
David arrived at the town hall, looking for Mother Superior, or rather, the Blue Fairy
"Henry!" he called out when he saw him "Have you seen Blue? Uh, Mother Superior?" he asked
"No, but everyone is looking for you" Henry told him
The crowd around them started asking questions, all at the same time, but David ignored them and kept looking for the fairy "Blue!" David yelled her when she found her "Could there be a tree on this side?" he asked "The way we sent Emma and Angie through as babies. Maybe I could go after them that way" he suggested
