Firday, October 2

Snow White was standing in front of the full-length-mirror in her room, remembering the past, while David cooked breakfast "What are you doing?" she asked him, coming out of her day-dream

"I'm making breakfast" David replied

"Why?" Snow inquired

"I'm hungry" David said

"You think I don't know what you're doing? We talked about this. We had a deal" Snow reminded him

"I know. I know. But, with the curse broken, I thought maybe you would change your mind" he explained

"Well, I didn't" she told him "What's this?" she asked, gesturing to the gift on the table

"Birthday present" David told her

"No, I told you-" Snow started to complain, but her husband cut her off

"It's not from me!" he said

"No one else knows" Snow pointed out

"Apparently, someone does" he replied "And they also think you should celebrate. It was left outside the door this morning"

Snow open the gift reluctantly, finding a diamond tiara inside the box. Her old diamond tiara.

"What is it?" David asked curious and Snow lifted the tiara out to show him "I thought that was lost when the curse hit" David said

"So did I" Snow said, noticing the card that came with the gift and opening it up

'Thinking of you today. –Johanna'

"Johanna" Snow said softly, remembering her old maid and friend

"I didn't know she was in Storybrooke" David said

"Neither did I" Snow admitted

"After the curse, you were gone for a while" David reminded her "We're all still finding each other. It hasn't been easy"

"I have to go" Snow stated suddenly, rushing to grab the tiara back and get her coat, but David stopped her before she could leave

"Okay. Hey... Happy Birthday" he told her sweetly

Snow smiled softly and kissed him "Thank you for understanding. You should go. It's getting late. You have to go to work"

"I know. I just... I just wish this day made you happier" he said

"I know. But we both know it can't" she replied before leaving

David arrived at the Sheriff's station, ready for another day of work as Acting-Sheriff while Emma was gone when he heard a noise coming from behind him. While he was looking for the source of the noise, Hook ambushed David and hit him in the head with a crowbar, knocking him unconscious

"Apologies, mate" Hook said to David as he took his keys "But I think you have something of mine" he unlocked the drawer of the sheriff's desk and found his hook inside. He put it back on and hurried out, anxious to get to Rumpelstiltskin in New York, leaving behind the fake hand he had been using

Neal, Henry, Emma, and Gold were walking down a street in New York with Neal and Henry leading and Emma and Gold trailing behind them.

"So, uh, you like pizza?" Neal asked his son

"Yeah. Let me guess, you're going to tell me the best pizza's in New York and I got to try it, right?" Henry replied
