Child of the Moon - Part 1

Saturday night, April 18

Henry was sleeping in Mary Margaret's bed when he suddenly woke up, screaming, scared and covered in sweat. David rushed down the stairs to check on him

"Henry? Henry?" David said, sitting next to him, and holding him "Hey, hey, hey, you're okay. You're okay, you're okay" he repeated

"I-I just had the worst nightmare" Henry said, breathing hard

"It's over now" David tried to calm him down

"Okay" Henry said softly

"Okay? Here" David said, lighting up the candle next to the bed "This will help"

"A candle?" Henry asked confused

"Yeah. They keep the nightmares away" he explained "Now, talk to me, what was so bad?"

"I, I was in this room and, and it was red" Henry said "And there were no doors, no windows, and these curtains... they were on fire. And I was in this corner"

"Right" David said, trying to hide the concern on his face

"And, and, and, I was looking out, and there was someone else there" Henry continued explaining "She was staring at me through the flames. Then I woke up and-"

"Hey, don't worry, alright?" David cut him off "It was just a bad dream" he told him

Monday, April 20

The dwarves were down in the mines, looking for fairy dust. After working all day, Happy decided to invite his brothers to some drinks

"Pick-axes down, brothers! First round at Granny's is on me!" he shouted so they all could hear him

Everyone cheered at the idea, except of Grumpy, who kept hitting the wall with his pick-axe

"Come on, Leroy. We're going to miss 'happy hour'" Doc told him

Granny's running a two-for-one special on mead" Happy said

"Just because it's called 'happy hour', Happy, don't mean you got to be there" Grumpy told his brother "We got work to do"

"But you're tired. We all are" Happy remarked "A break could help"

But Grumpy wasn't changing his mind "Charming asked us to mine for dust. Fairy dust. To help bring Snow, Emma and Angie back home. And that's... what I'm... going to do!" he said, fiercely hitting the wall each time until it finally caved in, making him fall into a new cavern

David arrived at the mines with Henry and Mother Superior, having been called after Grumpy fell in the cavern

"Where is he?" David asked Happy as they joined the dwarves

Happy pointed to the hole in the wall and when they looked in, they saw the dwarves looking up to the ceiling of the cavern. It was covered with hundreds of diamonds

"Are those-?" Henry started to ask, but Mother Superior cut him off

"Diamonds. They're back, the magic brought them back" she said

"You mean, the kind that become fairy dust?" Henry asked, just to be sure

"Indeed" she replied "We just need to refine them, grind them up. Do you still have what remains of Jefferson's hat?" she asked David. He nodded, showing it to her "You lock this up, keep it safe" she told him "Because by this time tomorrow, we'll have enough magic dust to make it work again"
