In the meantime, the half the town was waiting for David at the town hall to hear his plan to fix everything, as he had promised. Everyone was getting anxious, Granny had a crossbow, Henry was trying to call David but he wasn't answering. Then, the doors open on their own, revealing Regina on the other side.

"My, what a nice turnout" she said, casually walking in "No need for a fuss, it's just little old me"

"Regina, think about what you're doing" Archie tried to reason with her

"Bug" Regina replied with disgust, flicking her hand and sending him flying across the room

"Hey!" Grumpy came to his friend's aid, but received the same treatment

Granny shot an arrow then, but Regina caught it in her hand "How sweet" she said, lighting the arrow on fire, turning it into a fireball and flinging it to the crowd

"What do you want?" Ruby stepped up and asked

"Me" Henry said, walking to the front of the crowd "She wants me" he stepped even closer to Regina "Okay, I'll come with you. Just leave them alone" he begged

"That's my boy" Regina said, holding Henry's shoulder and walking out with him, using magic to close the doors behind them

Now that they were seated, David put the hat on the table, between them "Can you get me through?" he asked

"No" Jefferson replied shortly

"Can you get them back?" David asked, making Jefferson roll his eyes "Can you get it to work?" he asked then, making Jefferson laugh

"Oh, if only you knew" he told the prince

"Okay, you had a little girl's tea set in your car and a stuffed rabbit toy" David told him "So I'm thinking you have a daughter you love. Well I do too" he said "Two, in fact. And a wife. And they're out there somewhere, in the Enchanted Forest or a void, I don't even know, but I'm going to get them back" David said

"They're in the Enchanted Forest, that's for sure" Jefferson replied seriously "I just can't get there"

"It still exists?" David asked shocked

"It exists" Jefferson confirmed "I don't know if that matters, since we can't go there" he pointed out

"So you won't help me?" the prince wondered

"I'm a portal jumper, and you destroyed my portal" Jefferson explained "So you're out of luck

David lost his patience and grabbed Jefferson by his scarf "Well I'm the closest thing left to a sheriff here, so I can just throw you in a cell until you figure out a way" he threatened the man

"Then all we'll both do is sit. Stuck. Two lives in our heads, cursed worse than ever" Jefferson replied, causing David to let go "Two lives forever at odds. Double the pain, double the suffer-" Jefferson cut himself off by standing up and throwing the table at David before running away, passing Ruby. David followed after him immediately, but Rub stopped him "David, stop!" she said, grabbing him

"Get out of my way" he replied, still focused on following Jefferson

"Regina has Henry" Ruby said hurriedly, trying to catch David's attention

"But he has the way!" David shouted, pointing towards where Jefferson had run off to

"She has Henry" Ruby repeated "She's threatening everyone"

David finally looked at her "She has Henry?" he asked

"She showed up at your town meeting. The one you missed" she told him "Her magic's back, everyone's panicking. They want to leave town; they're going to lose everything"
