Lady Of The Lake: Enchanted Forest - Part 1

Saturday, April 11

Mulan and Aurora were on horseback while they pulled Emma, Angie and Snow behind them. They had bounded their wrists together and tied them to a rope attached to Mulan's saddle.

After days of traveling across the deserted land, they finally arrived to a narrow path along the beach leading to a peninsula

"What is this place!?" Snow asked the women holding them prisoners when they stopped at the beginning of the path

"Our home" Mulan replied dryly before motioning to her horse to keep moving

They finally reached the end of the path, arriving at a village-like encampment populated by the remaining inhabitants of the Enchanted Forest. The rope joining them to the horse was removed, but their hands were still left bound together

"It's like they're refugees" Emma said, looking around

"We're survivors" Mulan corrected her

Suddenly, Snow turned around and kicked Aurora in the gut "Girls, run!" she shouted, the twins following her as she made a run for it. Unfortunately for them, Mulan used a boleadora to knock out Snow, making her fall hard and face down on the floor

"Mary Margaret!" Emma shouted, both her and Angie going back to her and turning her over "Mary Margaret!" Emma repeated

"What did you do!?" Angie asked Mulan when the warrior approached them

Mulan ignored the question and instructed some guards instead "Take them to the pit"

Two guards pushed Emma and Angie into the pit-prison, while a third one dragged Snow in

"Be careful" Angie said to the third guard, who simply dropped Snow on the ground "Be careful!" she reprimanded him

Emma quickly went to Snow's side and started shaking her arm "Hey, come on, wake up"

"Hey, hey, can you hear us?" Angie joined her sister

"Do you need help?" a feminine voice asked from the shadows, causing both sisters to look up

"Who are you?" Emma asked

"A friend" the woman replied, coming out to the light "My name's Cora. May I take a look?" she asked, pointing to Snow

Emma and Angie shared a look, but since they didn't have any other options, they let her check Snow. While she did that, the sisters untied each other's hands

"Are you sure she's going to be okay?" Angie asked Cora as she untied Snow's hands

"Don't worry, she'll be fine" Cora assured her

"What is this place? Where are we?" Emma asked, looking around their prison

"It's a little island our captors like to think of as their haven" Cora said, walking closer to Emma

"Haven from what?" Angie asked, joining them

"The world's dangerous. What's left of it anyway" Cora explained

"Well they can't keep us down here. We didn't do anything wrong" Emma said

"Neither did I" Cora told them

"Then why are you here?" Angie asked her

"I'm here because of something... my daughter did" Cora admitted "The curse that ravaged this land, she casted it"

"Regina. You're Regina's mother?" Emma asked, taking a step back and moving closer to a still unconscious Snow

"Yes, but you've nothing to fear from me. The apple fell very far from the tree" Cora assured them "You two are from over there, aren't you? How'd you get back?" she asked
