Broken - Part 1

Saturday, April 4

The purple smoke vanished, leaving the citizens of Storybrooke confused. Mary Margaret, or Snow White, and David weren't an exception

"What's happening?" she asked when the sky cleared

"Let's find out" he replied

They went to investigate together and came across Granny's, where Granny and Ruby were. They quickly reunited with their friends, hugging each other. While this was happening, the dwarves found the group

"Your Highness" Grumpy said, getting Snow's attention

She walked over to them smiling and opening her arms for them, receiving a big group hug from them

"The curse, it's broken?" Grumpy asked when they broke the hug

"Well, it appears so" David told him

"So, what do we do now?" Ruby asked

"Now? Now I find my daughters" Snow said, looking to David with a wishful smile

"So it's true" Emma said from behind them, causing both David and Snow to turn around

Emma, Angie and Henry had left the hospital the moment the smoke had cleared, finding the group at Granny's in their own search for answers

David and Snow looked at the twins with tears in their eyes and slowly approached them. Snow put her hands on Emma's and Angie's faces before hugging them "You found us" she said

Emma stood still, while Angie put an arm around her mother. David joined them a moment later, standing behind Snow and holing Emma's head with one hand while his other arm fell over Angie's shoulders

They stood like that until Henry looked up to David and asked "Grampa?"

Snow started laughing at that, and David was the first to break the hug in order to give his grandson a side-hug "Yeah, kid. I suppose so" he told Henry

"She did it. She saved you" Henry told them, looking to his mom

"She saved all of us" Snow said, also looking at her

"I...well..." Emma was at a loss of words

"Uh, then why are we still here?" Grumpy asked, breaking the moment

"We were wondering the same thing" Angie replied

That's when the rest of the dwarves started talking at the same time "well, what was that smoke?" "who did this?" "what was that smoke?" "and why?" "and what was the smoke?" they kept asking

"Magic" the Blue Fairy answered them, joining the group "It's here, I can feel it"

"Magic? In Storybrooke?" Henry asked excited "You're the Blue Fairy, do something magical"

"It's not quite that simple, Henry" she explained him "No wand, no fairy dust, matters are complicated now"

"Let's go to the person responsible for bringing it: The Queen" Grumpy said

"Yeah, The Queen" "Yeah" "Let's get her" "Yeah, The Queen" the other dwarves backed him up

"No wait. It wasn't Regina" Emma said

"Gold?" Angie asked, knowing he was the only other person involved before the curse broke

"Yes" Emma confirmed

Gold and Belle were still by the well, having waited there until the smoke vanished

"My darling Belle" he said, turning to her "You have to tell me what happened to you"
