Gold was at the town line. He opened the truck of his car and let Smee out. He pushed him to the town line, making him fall to his knees. Gold took Smee's red hat and poured a potion over it before giving it back and, without a warning, he pushed him across the line.

When Gold asked Smee his name, Smee was able to remember it. The potion had worked.

Gold let Smee go and went back to preparing his trip to find his son

Tuesday, September 29

Several of the Storybrooke residents were gathered around a casket and a tombstone. It read 'Archibald Hopper – Friend and Conscience'

Snow gave a eulogy to the crowd and Marco placed Archie's umbrella against the tombstone, saying goodbye to his friend

Unknown to them, Hook was interrogating Archie in his ship, trying to learn the location of the Dark One's Dagger. Instead, what Hook learnt was that Gold was trying to find his son

After Archie's funeral, Belle rushed to Gold's shop

"Hey. What, uh... what's wrong that you couldn't tell me on the phone?" she asked as soon as she entered the shop

"I did it. I can leave" he informed her

"You can cross the town line?" she said excited

"Indeed, I can" he said, showing her a vial with clear liquid in it "When I pour this potion onto the object I hold most dear, that object becomes a talisman, and allows me to cross the town line and still remember who I am" he explained

"And who you're looking for" Belle added

"My boy" Gold replied

"What, um... what will you enchant?" Belle asked him

Gold turned and opened the safe hidden behind the painting on the wall "Well..." he said as he pulled out an old, well-worn, brown shawl "This shawl, is all I have left of my Baelfire"

"I don't suppose I could come with you?" Belle wondered

"No" he replied "I... I... I truly wish you could, but... I only have enough of this potion for one object" he told her as he put the shawl back in the safe "Hey" he said, when he saw Belle's sad face "This is my journey, Belle. This is my journey. I'm afraid it's something I have to do alone."

"I know" Belle replied as they hugged

Belle entered the library and grabbed a handful of books to put away, but she run into Hook. She recognized him as the man who broke into her cell at the Regina's palace back in the Enchanted Forest and tried to get away from him by locking herself in the elevator.

She called Gold, and although the call got cut, he quickly came to check on her

At Mary Margaret's apartment, most of the funeral attendees were gathered. Emma was unsuccessfully trying to cheer Henry up while the rest discussed their future. When Emma rejoined the room, Grumpy spoke

"Ladies?" he addressed Emma and Snow "The dwarves have been thinking. We have to ask: when do we go back?"

"Back? Where?" Emma asked confused

"The Enchanted Forest" Grumpy replied "Our home"

"You want to go back?" Snow asked surprised

"We fought really hard to get here" Emma remarked
