Queen of Hearts - Part 1

Friday night, September 25

The five women finally arrived at Rumpelstiltskin's cell. Snow light a torch and looked inside the cavern

"Rumpelstiltskin's cell. I haven't been here since before Regina's curse" she said, getting Emma's and Angie's attention "This is where he told us one of you was going to break the curse and the other would became the Saviour" she explained

"He knew?" Emma asked

"Oh, it was prophesized" Snow replied "Come on" she said, entering the cell

The other women followed her and they all started to search for the ink

"The squid ink, it's not here" Aurora said after a while

"Gold said we would find it" Snow replied confidently

"Well, was there anyone else in here with him? Could they have taken the ink?" Mulan asked

"No, he was kept alone. Visitors were forbidden. He was too dangerous to allow any human contact" Snow explained

"How did he keep form going crazy?" Emma wondered

"He didn't" Aurora replied, reading a parchment she had found inside a crack on the wall

"What is it?" asked Angie, seen the parchment

"Is it a message?" Emma asked, also intrigued

"Yes. And I think it's for the two of you" Aurora replied, handing it to the twins

"Why would you think..." Angie trailed off as she and Emma looked at the parchment, fully written with Emma's and Evangeline's names all over "...that?" she finished softly

"What does this even mean?" Emma asked, confused and creeped out, taking the parchment

"He was obsessed with you two" Snow told her daughters "You were the key to breaking the curse"

"We've looked everywhere. There's no ink in this cell" Aurora said

"No, there has to be. He told David" Snow insisted

"You were in a Netherworld, maybe something got lost in translation" Emma suggested

Mulan, who had been searching all the time, spoke then "No, she heard right"

"You found it?" Angie asked, as they all looked over to the warrior

"In a manner of speaking" she replied, showing them an empty jar "There was ink in this cell"

Emma sighed, defeated "Son of a bitch"

Suddenly, Aurora grabbed a rock from the ground and threw it against the lever just outside of the cell, locking the door

"Aurora, what are you doing?" Angie asked shocked

"Helping me" Cora's voice came from the cavern's entrance. She and Hook walked over to the cell and Cora used her magic to make the compass appear on her hand

"No, no" Emma said, shaking the door to see if it opened

"Don't waste your energy, dear. Rumpelstiltskin himself couldn't escape from this cell" Cora told her before turning to Aurora "Thank you Aurora, we couldn't have done it without you" she said

"What?" Mulan asked surprised at the same time Emma and Snow interrogated Aurora "Why would you do this?" "How could you?"

"Oh, don't blame her. She was only doing what she was told" Cora told them, pulling Aurora's heart out of the satchel

"You took her heart?" Angie asked, horrified

"Actually, I did" Hook said, stepping closer to the cell "It was a gift" he said before leaning over and whispering to Angie "I told you I'll find you" he winked
