Into the Deep - Part 3

David had been asleep for a few hours now, and he still wasn't waking up

"Come on, come back" Henry told him "Should he be in there so long?" he asked his mother

"I'm sure it's fine" Regina tried to assure him "I imagine they're just catching up"

Henry accepted the answer and turned back to look at his grandfather, missing the worried look Regina sent towards Gold, who simply shook his head in response

Once he had woken up, alone and in the middle of the forest, Hook had decided to go back to Cora. He made it to the haven without a problem, but once there, Cora caught him

"My dear Captain. It seems you've been on quite an adventure" she said "You wouldn't happen to be in possession of the compass, would you?"

"I'm afraid it's eluded me for the moment" Hook told her "Your little search party made matters complicated" he said, referring to the zombie attack

"Really?" Cora wondered "It didn't seem very complicated for you to align yourself with them for months after stealing my protection spell and climbing the beanstalk without me" she remarked "To me it's a simple betrayal"

"I was going to bring it to you, after learning all I could about our destination, like we planned" he assured her "Our agreement remains: we are going to Storybrooke, together. I'll get it back"

"I don't have time for your games" Cora told him "I've crossed through too many worlds to be brought short at the brink of success"

"Oh, are you going to kill me now?" Hook wondered "Go ahead. Try"

"So brave" Cora teased him "No, I'm not going to kill you. I have something far more satisfying in mind: I'm going to leave you here with your thirst for revenge unquenched while I complete our journey without you"

"There's no need to be rash" he said "We can discuss this"

"Your pretty face buys you a lot, but not my time" she said "It's too valuable"

"I can do this. I can get it back" he assured her "You need me"

"No, I don't" Cora said "You've had your chance. Now, it's my turn to do this. The right way"

A puff of purple smoke surrounded Hook and when it disappeared, he found himself outside the haven. Cora had used her magic to kick him out, but Hook didn't give up easily. He was already forming a new plan to win Cora back

Hook sneaked back into the haven and headed towards the pit. He found both Angie and Aurora still unconscious and proceeded with is plan

Angie had her eyes closed but she could feel someone shaking her slightly and a voice somewhat familiar speaking to her

"Wake up, wake up. Come on sweetheart" Hook kept repeating as he shook Angie's shoulder "Wake up, wake up. On your feet, hurry"

Angie finally opened her eyes "Hook? What are you doing here?" she asked confused

Now that she was responding, Hook used his hook to break the chains holding her "Isn't it obvious? I'm setting you free" he replied before moving over to free Aurora

"Where are Emma and my mom? Where's Mulan?" Angie asked, looking around

Aurora woke up then, at the sound of her chains breaking "What's going on?" she asked, also confused

"I'm getting you two out of here" Hook told her before turning back to Angie "Just me" he emphasized

"Why just you?" Angie asked worried
