Wednesday's POV
Break has started. I'm sitting in the family car watching my parents make out. It's déjà Vu. Sickening.
"I can't believe you're back, my little storm cloud." My father says, still attached to my mother.
"Yes it's wonderful to have you here Wednesday." My mother adds.
"I'm glad you're back too." Pugsley says, leaning over his seat to look at me.
"Yes, I suppose it's nice to be back." I say, as my eyes meet the black mansion getting closer and closer.
Lurch parks and opens the doors. We all step out and I breathe in the air. Horrible. Perfect.
"Wednesday, get your bags!" Mother says.
I grab the black leathery luggage and head for the door, following my family. Father opens the door with one hand and almost trips on Thing as he scurries in through the door.
"Be careful, Thing!" Mother calls.
Minutes later we've all went to separate rooms, except mother and father of course. They're in the kitchen, and Pugsley and I in our rooms. It's nice to see the tidiness, after living in the same room as messy Enid.
Something dings in my pocket. I've just about have gotten ready to dismantle a bomb when I remember it's the stupid cell phone device. I pull it out and look at the screen. Enid says hi, with the smiley pictures. Emojis. I say hello back. Then I set my phone down and put all of my things where they belong. After a while I lie down in my bed to hear the dinging again. Enid.
Enid-
Where did you go??
Wednesday ?
You just said hi it's been an hour.
You suck at holding a conversation.

I care for you Enid. I'm not in love with you.Enid-
Hey I never said "in love"...Wednesday-
Isn't it the same thing? Whatever, it doesn't matter. I'm going to go.Enid-
Byeee!!My head already hurts. That device is killing me, and I'm letting it. I'm not touching it anytime soon. I decide to head down to the kitchen. I haven't eaten in a while. Never mind. I've forgotten about mother and father. Where to now? Pugsley's room? Sure. I make my way down the hall, staring at pictures of relatives and weapons. They're quite nice.
"Pugsley?" I say, knocking on his door.
He opens it.
"Hey sis."
"Hello." I make my way to his bed and sit on it.
"I like the whole you not torturing me thing I had going on," Pugsley says, fiddling with his fingers, "But I've missed you more. Maybe you don't have to torture me this time around?"
"Not a chance."
"I thought so."
There's a pause.
"I made a friend who's-"
"You made a friend!?" Pugsley shouts, mouth wide open.
There is no better chance to show him he's not getting a free pass out of torture now that I'm back. I shove his stupid head into to his bed until his screams get annoying.
"Yes. I made a friend and he reminds me of you. His name is Eugene."
"I'm proud of you, sis."
My face almost turns red. I shove him into the bed and then leave. I don't want to tell him of my other friend or he might explode out of pride for me.
