This is an idea me and Kunikidakinnie had while talking in the comments so yeah, enjoy medieval Kunizai :) there is also hint of Mushiran (Mushi x Ranpo) because they're underated and I love them so yeah djdvsb (all fluff don't worry)
Kunikida Doppo is a prince, the son of the King, Fukuzawa. (Because I can.), Of course Kunikida had siblings, Ranpo, Yosano and the youngest, Kenji.
Kunikida took the role of the prince very seriously and payed attention to everything his father did, in hope that some days he'll be as much as a great ruler as him.
Ranpo and Yosano were twins and the oldest but not interested of going to get to the throne, and Kenji would rather spend time in the garden to talk to lady Kyouka, a girl from another kingdom, sister of the prince Astushi.
Kunikida decided to take a walk in the city, he was dressed per usual, and that made people recognize him and made the people look down when they recognized him.
Kunikida looked at the show the people were putting.
Suddenly he stopped to see a ginger hair and a browned hair dancing in a funny way and doing funny movements.
Kunikida became amused when the ginger haired men recognized him, he then whispered to the rather pretty browned hair man "Oi Dazai the prince is here!" "WHAT?! NO WAY?!" "YES WAY DUMBASS!"
Dazai turned his head and became red when he saw Kunikida, he turned to the ginger man: "That's the prince?! Damn he looks good!" "Shut up, he'll hear you! Do you wanna get executed that bad?!" "First off, yes second off I mean it he's really pretty!", Dazai turned to see Kunikida and winked at him, Kunikida turned red.
He then felt his big brother next to him with another men pointing and laughing at the panicking dancers.
-Ranpo?
Ranpo turned and smiled
-Kuni! What a nice surprise!
The man next to Ranpo let go of Ranpo's hand.
-Prince Kunikida! What a surprise!
-Mushitarou-kun what a surprise, you here with my older brother.
Mushitarou was now red of embarrassment and his reaction made Ranpo chuckle.
-Don't tell me the great Mushitarou Oguri is embarrassed by my little brother seeing us together?
-It's not that...It's just... Oh would you look at that it's count Nikolai... Let's go see him..
-Stop avoiding my question Mushi-kun it's rude!
-What can't hear you....
The two man walked away to let Kunikida enjoy the show.
It was hard for the two man to stay focused when the prince, the future ruler, watches you, it's like your life lies on your performance.
Kunikida didn't bother and clearly they were just overreacting, I mean, they were right to feel that way.
After the performance, Kunikida gave them gold and asked for they're name.
-I'm Nakahara, Nakahara Chuuya my Lord, and this no good bag of bones is Dazai Osamu sir.Thank you for acknowledging our performance sir.
-Dazai huh?
Dazai was lost and completely hooked.
-Sir, yes sir.
Kunikida smiled at him.
-I shall see you around, goodbye gentleman's
-Goodbye Lord, said Chuuya, Hey jackass say goodbye!
Dazai snapped out of his very graphic fantasy
-Huh?! Oh, cya around Sir!
Chuuya gave him a death stare and letted out a silence "Fucking incompetent." And Dazai answerd with a : "Oh fuck off".
The next day Kunikida was there, and the other day two, and it started to be a habit of his.
The two man became close and one day Kunikida asked him if he perhaps could come to the castle at night.
-Huh? The prince want me in his castle, and for what may I ask~?
-Oh.. You know... Just.. I don't know talking and all..
-Well okay, but it's only cause it's you!
-Okay, just.. climb to the window, but be careful okay?
-Of course, oh my dear Prince!
At night Dazai did what he asked and Kunikida was really worried that he wouldn't make it without being noticed by the guard,and by Kunikida's surprise Dazai managed to climb through the window without being noticed.
-Hello my Lord!
-You're early I see.
-Yes I wanted to be with you as quick as possible!
-May I ask why?
They were both sitting on Kunikida's bed looking at each other.
-Well Uhm.. Because I wanted to see....
There was a silence and something in Dazai snapped, he took Kunikida's hands and said:
-Oh my dear Lord will you judge me if I tell you the real feeling I feel in my chest everytime you're in a part of my gaze..?
-Will I?
-Oh my dear Prince.. If you only knew, if only the cruel laws of life didn't put us in two very different worlds.
-My dear Osamu, you can tell me anything you feel as long that it's not hate and despising for my father's way of ruling.
-I do not care about our dear King's way of taking care of the kingdom you can be sure of that my dear.
-Thank God, but if it's not hate that grips your heart when you see me, what is it? What makes you feel the way you feel when I'm part of your so called gaze..?
-Oh my Prince... If telling you means putting our relationship on thin ice I don't think I can..
-Just tell me I won't mind, I promise your feelings for me whatever it is will not affect our relationship.
-Well.. My Lord do you know what kind of feeling got you in a chokehold except for anger?
-....Well... Maybe..... No that's not possible... Or is it.... Oh dear God... You fell In love with me..
-Unfortunatly you well known charm so happened to affect my feelings for you. I'm sorry my Prince.. I'll take my leave if you feel uncomfortable.
-Who said I felt uncomfortable with us sharing the same feeling for each other ?
Dazai turned around.
-Wait.. You like me back? Like actually?
-Why wouldn't I be? You're a most definitely beautiful and kind man who's dance moves are immaculate, you have a great personality and I so happened to fall in love with you too.
-Oh-
They were staring at each other again, only this time Dazai leaned closer and closer, Kunikida did the same thing and they're lips touched, the first kiss was quick, but the next kiss was more desperate, as if they waited all they're life for this to happen, Dazai was now on top of Kunikida, and for this instant, this very instant, nothing else mattered.
