Shivering in fear, Rosario's lips quavered helplessly in the dark as she tried to find a way to escape out of the small and now stuffy room. No one needed to tell her that the figure standing in front of her was the most feared villain in town whom everyone hated to talk about. It was said that anywhere her name was being mentioned, havoc would always erupt the place. She didn't know how she got into Lilith Aloysius' den but she knew it will be the end of her soon if she didn't find a way out quickly.

She'd heard sad stories of many death cases caused by Aloysius when she was still very young. Even in her college days, a male friend of hers had gone missing for a few days after leaving home in disguise of attending a party only to be found in the deepest part of the woods by the cops some months after with disembodied body parts and a deep crucifix sign on his head that had Aloysius' name on it.

Rosario thought she have been scared of going into the woods after the gory incidence, just like everyone had been. But somehow, she still managed to push the past incidence aside and portray her stubbornness and love for nature by 'exploring' keenly into it when she wasn't supposed to. Now, she was going to be carrying Aloysius' crucifix sign on her head, too because she'd stepped over the boundary line.

Her heart raced at this wild thought.

Clutching her chest in fear, she realized the only exit door in the room had been jammed lock with a heavy padlock and there wasn't even a window she could use as a substitute. The room she thought was warm and cozy moments ago had suddenly became ugly and smelly and the bed had turned hard underneath her. Rosario bursted out in tears, higher on Morphine than she should have been as it dawned on her that she was really going to die in the hands of the monster before her. The intense stares of Aloysius was burning deep into her skin and it felt like she was about to be ripped into a hundred pieces. The pain she was feeling from her swollen leg seemed to have disappeared in an instant and was replaced with a load of fear.

Admitting defeat, Rosario surrendered to Aloysius in silence and sat there with her head lowered on her knees as she expected an attack from the figure at any moment. Rosario thought there no need for her start begging for her life because she'd once heard from her friends that monsters had their own language and didn't understand English. That aside, this figure that was now moving closer to her by the ticking seconds didn't look like a monster who'd forgive and let go of her.

She could feel Aloysius' dark shadows on her now and the drastic change in the room's atmosphere even with her head bent low. It'd been bearably dark before but now, it'd turned increasingly dark that she thought she was going to turn blind. She hadn't noticed this before but the room really smelt of alcohol and blood and it made her twitch so badly that the bed creaked. Aloysius' shadow was already all over her now and It seemed all the oxygen in the room had disappeared because she could rarely breathe. Pressing her eyes lids together, Rosario's muttered some prayers and waited for an attack.

Her flesh should have been torn into a million pieces by now but to Rosario's surprise, no attack came thus. Instead, the supposed 'monster' opened its mouth and spoke in a soothing feminine voice, pronouncing each word with a gentle pull and encamping them in a sweet princess melody. If one hadn't heard Aloysius croaked creepily earlier, they'd have believed the voice belonged to a maiden from a noble family because she sounded so heavenly.

Rosario opened her eyes slowly and blinked severally when she heard the voice speak to her in a familiar language. She swallowed hard and wondered if she'd heard correctly or if she was just imagining things. The figure in front of her was supposed have to attacked her and not speak to her. She'd never heard of monsters speaking to people and If at all it was going to speak, shouldn't it be in a language she didn't understood? And why did it sounded so nice? Rosario thought in awe and her heart raced even more.
