Me and Chifuyu are sitting next to each other at a desk waiting for Nomoto's executives to come. There are two guards at the door infront of us. Our backs are facing the wall. This whole atmosphere makes me feel really trapped, but once again this is the mafia we're talking about. Even if they are allies things are still dangerous and strict.
Finally after a few minutes of waiting three people in black suits arrive and sit infront of us.

"Hey, Chifuyu and..." The person in the middle begins greeting and when he looks at me he stops,indicating for me to tell him my name.

"Sanya." I say.

"And Sanya. I expect this week has been going good for you?" he says raising his brows.

Chifuyu closes his eyes and sighs.

"Don't mention it, man, I don't want to talk about it."

Nah, cause same.

"Relatable. So, where did we got to last time?" he asks. He seems to be the leader because he's talking the most.

"We were talking about the tax you are going to pay us." Chifuyu says.

I lift an eyebrow. A tax? I didn't know that was a thing but now that I think about it, it does make sense. Maybe they are untied just because Nomoto are paying them. They want to be stronger so that they can beat black death.

" Oh, yes. That. "the guy doesn't sound so happy. "We decided it can be 300 000$ a month. This seems a lot to me." I open my eyes widely. This is more than a lot.

"Hmm..." Chifuyu thinks and I shoot a glare at him. Don't tell me he thinks it's not enough. "Fine, this'll do." he finally says.

They shake hands over the table with smiles. Isn't it Mikey's job to arrange those things? Like those are some major and important things we're talking about.

"You are a new one, right?" the guy on his left moves forward on the table. Seems a little too interested. Creeper.

"Yeah, I was a part of black death just before Nomoto and Toman united. I managed to escape and when I heard the news I decided it'd be a good idea to join Toman." I said with a little smile.

"Ohh, so you sure as hell know how to get things done. Those pricks have their name on point, it's true that all they repeat to you is 'kill, kill, kill' right?" the one on the right asks.

For a moment I don't understand what he means but then I get it.

" Yeah, the executives must drill that in your brain until it becomes your second nature. "I say.

" Oh, you tell me! Last week some of their pricks came to our tower and killed the whole C floor... Not a single person left alive. They even left a message saying how they're going to bring us down somehow. "

I gulp hardly "Oh, that must've been awful." I say trying not to show any emotion but clearly I'm failing.

"You probably don't have good memories from there, I shouldn't have brought the topic." says the guy on the left when he sees my reaction.

I'm glad he has no clue about the truth and I fake a smile "It's okay." I say.

"Yeah, this reminds me... I think it's time for you to finally put down your girl. Rose is taking a leading role in the fights. She's becoming a threat." says the one in the middle.

I'm surprised when they mention Rose but I also frown wondering what they meant by 'your girl' then I see Chifuyu lowering his head looking at the ground.

" I'll try one last time to get her back on our side. "he says. Then I realise. Rose was from Toman? But she never said that... She betrayed them?

"This might not be a good idea if she doesn't listen to you. She could kill you."
