It's been 6 months since we joined the group. I have gotten to know everyone and I have to say I love it here. I feel at home. I feel welcomed, like they really want me here. Nash seems to love it here too, Cameron and him are still tense around each other and they argue sometimes but they have been getting better.

"Hey Blair come here",jc yelled from across the room.

"Coming",I yelled as I sprinted over to him.

"We are all gonna go to an old Walmart Cameron found awhile ago to search for food. Can you stay here and look after Matt",he asked.

A few days ago Matt stared feeling sick. Yesterday he passed out and we haven't been able to wake him up since.

"Yeah I can do that",I said with a smile. "Alright well we're gonna go, if Matt wakes up be sure to give him that fever medicine and make sure he",I cut jc off.

"Yeah yeah I know make sure he's drinks plenty of water",I said rolling my eyes.

"I was just reminding you, well keep the door locked. Bye Blair",he said before leaving.

I was guessing the boys would be gone for about 2 hours and I really didn't have anything to do. I walked over to one of the only windows that were not boarded up and just sat there and stared out into the torn down city.

About an hour later I heard coughing coming from upstairs.

I quickly got up stairs and to Matthews room.

I walked into the room to see Matt sitting up in his bed looking pale, he looked horribly sick.

"Are you okay",I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, don't worry about me",he said running his hands though his hair.

I wasn't convinced. "I'm going to go get you some water",I said walking out.

I came back in with a large cup of cold water. "Here you go",I said handing it to him. He gratefully took it and immediately chugged down half of it.

"Thank you, I really needed that",he said setting the glass down.

"No problem, but now you have to take this medicine",I said showing him the bottle. "Yay",he said sarcastically.

After Matt took the medicine we just talked.

I've never noticed how attractive Matt was until now. He has beautifully colored eyes and cute little freckles that rest above his jawline. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard matts voice.

"They're here",he said.

"Who",I said stupidly still focused on matts face.

"The boys",he laughed.

"Oh duh",i said embarrassed.

"Matt you're awake",the boys yelled as they came in.

"Yup and I'm ready to get back on my feet",matt said confidently.
Jack j pressed his hand against matts forehead. "Man that's probably not the best idea. You still have a fever, we don't want you to pass out again",jack said.

"ugh, I just wanna get out of this bed",matt whined.

"Sorry Matt but you may have to stay there for a few days",Nash said.

"Fine, but Blair has to stay here to keep me company", he said grabbing my hand. My cheeks flushed red at his touch. I looked down at him on the bed.

"Sounds like a plan",I said with a smile.

After six whole months. Why am I just now falling for him?
