        ~Blairs pov~

I was woken up by Nash the next morning.

"It's time to go",he whispered.

I groaned before climbing out of the bed.

Once I got downstairs everyone was standing in the living room.

All 7 of us walked outside to the big group standing around mike.

"So I did some thinking last night and I think he should stay here, for all we know that lady could be crazy",mike said.

Immediately Cameron stepped in, "But what if she's not, what if there are people on their way right now",Cameron asked.

"We can't risk leaving this place, we have homes here",mike said back.

"Well either way we're leaving, and anyone is welcome to come with us",Nash said.

"Don't do this",mike tried lecturing to Nash.

  "If you want to stay here and die fine do that, but if you come with us you at least have a chance to live",Nash yelled to the crowd.

"Okay calm down, no ones going to die here. That lady didn't look healthy, she was probably insane",mike stalled.

Suddenly there was a voice from behind us.

"I'm not insane, and I can promise you that if you stay here you will die".

I turn around to see the woman behind us.

"I don't trust you, you're sick",mike said.

"We believe her, and we're leaving right now",Cameron said.

"Im leaving too",we heard Isabella say as she walked over to us.

"Us too",Makayla and her little brother said coming into view.

"Fine leave, but you are all making a huge mistake",mike said walking over to open the gates.

Everybody was looking at us probably wondering if we were crazy.

LAre you sure this is what you want", mike asked stepping in front of us as we were about to walk out of the gate.

"Positive",Cameron said before pushing past him coldly with us following behind him.

The gate closed behind us and we didn't look back.

We now have 3 new people. There's Isabella, makayka and Makaylas 9 year old brother named hunter.

I'm not sure where we are going to go or what will happen but I'm not scared at all.

We walked for hours and hours just talking to each other.

The day went by really fast and before I knew it the sun was setting.

"I think that we should go and find a convenient store somewhere, we can find food there, and it would be a place to stay over night",Nash said.

"Sounds good",Cameron agreed.

"Wow what a surprise, we actually agreed on something",Nash laughed before we started walking again.

With in an hour we found some random boarded up convenient store.

Once we were in we quickly found food. Mostly chips and water bottles.

"Are you guys not scared about what we are going to do",makayka asked.

"No not really, we have had to do this before",Matt answered.

"Wow you guys don't really have good luck do you",she laughed.

"No not really, but it ended up okay,and it will again this time",I said.

"I'm going to go look in the storage closet",Cameron said before getting up and walking into the back of the store.

Once he was out of sight I turned to Nash.

"Feeling any better about Cameron", I asked him.

I could tell by Nash's face that he wanted to say yes but his stubbornness over powered.

"Nope",he said crossing his arms.
I smiled and shook my head.

"You're so stubborn",I chuckled.

Suddenly Cameron came back into view with 4 or 5 gas cans in his arms.

"No way",jc said grabbing one from him.

"Yup and there's even more in the back",he smiled.

"This is perfect, remember how we passed that elementary school on the way down here. There was a school bus, I could hot wire it in the morning",jc said.

"That would be great, we could get around a lot faster",Nash said.

"Hey jc, how do you know how to hot wire",I asked curiously.
"Let's just say I wasn't really well behaved before the apocalypse started, but that doesn't matter. We should probably all get to bed",jc said.

Everyone went to bed and the store was completely silent.

I closed my eyes and tried falling asleep with the curiosity of what is ahead of us.
