The Hero And The Villan

Main characters of this chapter- Mark and Jack

Warnings- This chapter will end similar to Romeo and Juliet (look it up if you don't know what it is) and it's also based off it sorta like forbidden love. So there will be suicide in this chapter and violence as there will be a fight scene

Mark was a superhero, of course no one knew it was him except the one villain he had been hunting for years on end and every single time he got close to catching him he slipped like water through his fingers. Mark was getting angry at this point why couldn't he catch him? He feels like a terrible superhero because the villain is out there causing trouble and he can do the one job he was told to do. Mark was making his rounds in his suit so no one could recognize him when he spotted the familiar head of green hair in an alley way holding someone to a wall with a knife in his hand "Oh no..." Mark sprinted into the alleyway and pushed Jack back into a brick wall and for some reason Mark was hoping he didn't hurt him to bad "What the fuck is wrong with me? Shouldn't I want him to be hurt? Isn't that my whole job?" Mark saw the person run away and finally turned to Jack who groaned and got up touching the back of his head wincing in pain and as he pulled his hand back he saw blood then glaring daggers at mark, if looks could kill Mark would most definitely be dead.

Jack charged at Mark knocking him to the ground as basically straddled him getting ready to stab him but Mark knocked the knife out of his hand it flying a good distance away from the two and that's when Mark noticed something off about Jack, he almost seemed glitchy and a lot more angry then usual. While Mark was distracted Jack got up and ran after the knife again but before he could get very far Mark grabbed his ankle causing him to hit the ground still a good distance away from the knife, Mark got up and picked up the knife putting it in the trash. "Get up Jack." He growls out as he watched Jack stand almost levitate causing him to let his guard down for a minute. The two stood face to face with each other Jacks mind running in circles as Anti was trying to keep Jack inside. 'Anti please don't kill him I love him!' "it's forbidden! I won't allow it!" He screamed at himself knowing Jack would hear him but little did he know Mark could hear his thoughts and he was confused but his heart was racing.

"Jack? The same villain I've been trying to arrest for years says he loves me? I mean he's cute but I get why he wouldn't tell me but.,I think I like him too..I'm not sure who this person or thing is in front of me but it's not "My" Jack.  "My" Jack only did petty crimes like stealing or vandalism..this guy in front of me is a serial killer." Anti had let his guard slip for a minute letting Jack slip free for a bit as he ran up to Mark causing Mark to get defensive "Mark it's me Jack! I don't have much time before he comes back, I just wanted to say I love you and I always will. I won't let him kill you but there is only one way to stop him forever..." he leans into Mark and kissed him passionately their lips moving in sync as it started to storm, when he kissed Jack he felt a spark like a fire was lit in him.

All to soon Jack had pulled away and stepped back "Mark i really don't want to do this but it's the only way to stop him remember that I love you and that I'm sorry for all the trouble he's caused.." Mark was confused until he saw Jack pull out a different knife and holds the knife to his neck staring at Mark and for some reason Mark couldn't move. He wanted to stop Jack because he knew it would kill him but at the same time Anti would be gone and he the hero would have succeeded, but at this point is that what he really wanted?

Marks eyes filled with tears as thoughts jumbled in his mind on what to do when suddenly he looked up as the figure in front of him glitched a bit before pulling the knife across his neck deeply, as blood poured from Jacks neck and pooled on the concrete in front of him before he fell back to the ground the knife falling from his hand. Mark screamed in pain and sadness as he ran over to Jack and quickly fell to his knees next to him seeing Jack still hanging on and carefully bringing a hand up to Marks face "M-mark p-please tell everyone that I'm s-sorry for what he has done, I never meant for anyone to get hurt.." he coughed some blood coming up trickling down his chin. Mark stroked Jacks hair in a calming manner as they both cried "Mark...I love you so much..." and with that Jacks body went limp his hand falling from Marks face and laid on his stomach.

Mark sobbed heavily feeling like his heart had been shattered like a mirror, he went to a field where he thought Jack would like and buried him sitting by his grave for awhile before deciding he better go tell the Mayor what happened, as Mark got to town hall and into the Mayors office he requested to do a broadcast the city to which the Mayor agreed and it would be in an hour. So Mark went home and took a shower getting dressed in a nice black suit and grabbing a small pistol from his closet putting 6 bullets in it in case the first one didn't work then going down to the mayors office, luckily they never searched him so the gun was safe.

Mark walked into an empty room where there was just a camera and a microphone, good he didn't want to have to do this in front of actual people to where they could try and stop him. He locked the door and went over turning on the camera and as he listened to the Mayor introduce him he just looked numb, he didn't look like that "Happy" hero people know him to be "Citizens...the Villain known as "Jack" has been caught..but due to something taking over his body like a possessive demon...he killed himself to get rid of the real Villain that was terrorizing the city...Jack didn't mean for people to get hurt..he loved me and I loved him..." Mark pulled out the gun and loaded the chamber putting it to his head "I'll see you soon Jack" and then the gun went off killing Mark instantly.
