Mark is a criminal?

Ethan is an undercover cop and he's been told to go after his best friend Mark due to suspicions that have come up at the station. He had doubts about these since he's known Mark for quite awhile and he felt that if he was a criminal he would have known by now but he was going to go just to prove them wrong. He went to Marks house around the time he thought he would be gone and since he had a key he unlocked the door and walked in going straight to Marks room. He turned on the light and was searching the book shelves and anything that could have looked suspicious, he picked up a strange looking ring on the bookshelf "That's weird- I've never seen Mark wear this before" then as he was processing where it came from soon realizing it was indeed stolen then he heard a door open and his best friends soft voice laced with confusion "Ethan? what are you doing here?" Ethan jumped a bit and turned around feeling startled and accidentally dropped the ring "U-uh Mark- I thought you weren't home-" Mark looked over Ethan's body soon eyeing his badge half hidden in his pants pocket then looked to the ring on the floor and Ethan seemed to notice he had been caught. Mark walked towards Ethan who backed away nervously after finally noticing Mark was just in a towel that was around his waist 'How did I not hear the shower?!' Mark closed the distance between them as Ethan's back hit the bookshelf and Mark put his hands on Ethan's waist causing the smaller male to blush a bright red and look away nervously "M-mark what are you doing?-" Mark smirked and leaned down to whisper in Ethan's ear "Your a cop and I'm the criminal~" he nibbles on Ethan's ear earning a small moan from the male "M-mark y-you shouldn't do t-this-" Mark stepped back a bit and slipped Ethan's shirt over his head and tossing it off to the side "I've seen the way you look at me Ethan~ I know you like me and I like you too~" Ethan blushed and grew a bit hard.

Mark smirked as he looked at the flustered boy in front of him and grabbed him by his waist again pulling him so their bodies were touching and their bulges rubbing together. Ethan blushed as Mark held him so gently and passionately, he was baffled that this man was a criminal. Mark kissed and nipped at Ethan's neck as he was distracted and Mark knew, Ethan let out a moan and his head grew foggy "F-fuck Mark~" Mark smirked against his skin and made a mark on his neck soon they moved to the bed and Mark had done what he had been waiting so long to do. The next morning when Ethan woke up he saw a note next to the bed and started to cry as he read

"Dear Blue boy, I love you with all my heart and I always will- but I couldn't go back to jail...last night meant the world to me but I didn't want to be sent away again...I have moved away and got a new phone number- if you wish to find me I won't stop you but I hope you won't bring your cop friends with you..remember I love you so so so much Ethan...Sincerely Mark"

Ethan cried for what seemed like hours as he laid in Marks bed holding the letter "I-I can't believe he left me...I'm so stupid..." he noticed the ring sitting on the nightstand where the letter was "He left it..." there was a note with the ring
"You can have this back love, do what you wish with it but I hope you keep it. love Mark"

"I will keep it Mark- and I will come and find you" Ethan slipped the ring on his finger as he grabbed his stuff and walked out of the house and set off on an adventure to find Mark.
