Once a bully always a bully.

Mark had been Ethan's bully for years soon Mark had proved he had changed for the better or so Ethan had thought. Ethan came into school one day and was happier then he had ever been that is until he saw his boyfriend Mark kissing Amy, Ethan gasped dropping his books to the floor causing Mark to stop what he was doing and turn to Ethan with a smirk as he saw Ethan cry.

"M-mark how could you?! You said you changed!!" Ethan screamed getting in Marks face as Mark pushed Amy behind him "Listen here you freak. I never loved you faggot." Marks words were laced with venom as he spit them at his boyfriend. Ethan was sobbing as he shakes his head simply mumbling the words only so Mark could hear "Once a bully always a bully..." he left all of his stuff and ran to the boy's bathroom leaving Mark in shock about what Ethan just said to him. It took him a minute to process what happened and he completely forgot about Amy as he ran to follow Ethan but when he got to the bathroom the door was locked "Ethan please...what are you doing in there?... I'm sorry I hurt you my love..." Ethan had paced the bathroom floor as he gripped a small blade from one of his pencil sharpeners in his hand, he heard everything Mark was saying but all he could hear was ringing in his ears as he thought to himself 'Why would he do this to me?' 'Does he not love me anymore?' 'Maybe I should just kill myself..he wouldn't care anyway..' he hesitated as he stood in the middle of the bathroom listening to Mark pound on the door. He carefully pulled the blade over his wrist hissing in pain which quickly turned to numbness as he did it continuously up to his elbow and then on the other side as well. Blood quickly flowed from the cuts as he heard the door come open and he barley saw Marks face before starting to pass out that's when Mark caught him before he hit the floor. He could see Mark crying which confused him "E-Ethan please don't leave me..I love you s-so much....I need you here baby.." Ethan had tried to say something but could breathe as his eyes started to close "Ethan no! Please stay with me baby!" He screamed as he called for help and tried to give Ethan CPR "Baby please don't go..." he had tears pouring down his tan face as he held his boyfriend's lifeless body in his arms and no one ever came to help "I'm so sorry I failed you my love..."

About 10 minutes after Mark had called for help someone came and got Ethan as Mark held him tightly not caring he was covered in blood and the blade still clutched in Ethan's hand. "Mark let him go..." It was his best friend Tyler who had came in with a teacher, Mark looked up at his best friend his eyes bloodshot "He's dead Tyler...my love is dead.,.he k-killed himself..." Mark didn't want to let Ethan go "H-he was the only thing I had left Tyler,."  Tyler stepped towards him "I know Mark..we got to get him out of here and somewhere else ok?" Mark nodded and the paramedics came in and took Ethan but they told Mark he couldn't come. Mark stood in the middle of the boys bathroom covered in blood tears running down his face as he looked at his best friend "What am I going to do without him Tyler.,," Mark whispered Tyler sighs and walks over as he takes his friends arm and leads him out of school glaring at all the people who stared including Amy "I hope you know this is your fault." He spat at her as they were walking out and to Tyler's car, Tyler put Mark in the passenger seat and drove him to his house. Once they got there Tyler got out of the car and helped Mark inside and Mark went straight to the guest bedroom, Tyler sighed and rubbed his face "He's never going to get over this..." Tyler yelled out to Mark saying he had to go to the store and that he would be back, once Tyler was gone Mark made his way downstairs to find something to drink and eventually his eyes drifted over the bottle of vodka in the fridge (Mark can drink in this) "A little won't hurt.." he said as he grabbed the bottle shut the fridge. He quickly took off the top and took a swig wincing as it burned his throat on the way down.

He started to think about Ethan again causing him to tear up and drink some more "Ethan I'm so sorry I did this to you..." he whispered as if Ethan could hear him and In fact Ethan's ghost had been standing and watching him as Mark spiraled into a depressive state as Ethan did. Ethan had tried everything to get Mark to stop doing what he was doing but it was no use Mark couldn't see him. Mark saw a bottle of pills on the counter and not caring what they were he picked up the bottle and taking the cap off downing the entire bottle and taking a giant drink of vodka until the bottle was finished. Then he heard the front door open and barley saw Tyler walk in before going unconscious dropping the empty pill bottle and the vodka bottle which shatters around him as they both hit the floor. Tyler screams and runs over "Mark! What the hell are you doing?!" Mark was fading away fast and Tyler knew that he couldn't call 911 because they wouldn't get here in time and he knew that, he decided it would just be best to hold onto Mark as he faded away into the afterlife. He sat down on the floor in the pile of glass holding onto his best friend as he slips away "Im sorry I left Mark..I shouldn't have left you alone in this state..,I'll never forgive myself for this but I'm glad you'll be ok.,." And with those words Mark was gone.

Suddenly Mark was there again but not in his body, instead he was outside of his body looking down at it and to his friend Tyler "Im sorry Tyler..." then he heard the voice he had been longing to hear since that morning "Mark?..." Mark turned sharply and ran towards Ethan picking him up in a tight hug "Ethan.,I'm so so sorry..I never got the chance explain what happened...she blackmailed me into all that, of course I love you Ethan i always have.." Ethan sniffled and hugged Mark back "I love you too Mark.."
