Forgive Me (Part 2)

Main character of this chapter- Mark and Ethan and a little bit of Tyler and Amy

I was at home and was recording a video with Tyler when all of our phones went off and we looked at each other "Is it from Ethan?" I asked as I looked at the other two and they nodded as I pulled up the video and played it on my phone as the others watched it on there's. They all looked to me in shock as my eyes filled with tears "No...no no no no!" I screamed and grabbed my keys and slipped on my shoes not giving anyone a second glance as I ran out the door to my car and drove to Ethan's apartment building. Once he got there and ran up the stairs to the roof and flung the door open hoping he got there in time,he saw Ethan with one foot hanging over the edge but when the door hit the wall Ethan spun to look at him. He could see his red bloodshot eyes and tear stained cheeks, he looks like he's been crying for awhile "Ethan?.. Ethan are you ok?.." when I tried to step closer to him Ethan shook his head "D-don't come any closer Mark I'll jump! I-ill do it!" He was shaking and dangerously close to the edge "Ethan please...talk to me? What's going on? What's pushed you to the point of wanting to end your life?.." He saw Ethan hesitate as no one has ever cared to ask. Ethan walked a bit away from the edge
"I...I'm a waste of space Mark..everyone tells me I use you and Tyler for views...I've been cutting for a month and no one noticed how fake my smile was so I figured "Maybe no one will notice if I disappear off the face of the earth" it's not like my channel is popular enough to miss anyway. Then I go and fall in love with my best friend..." he moved closer towards the edge again as Mark stared in shock "You like Tyler?.." he wasn't sure why but he felt his heart break. Did he like Ethan? But he's dating Amy! He saw Ethan shake his head more tears start to pour down his pale cheeks "I can't do this anymore Mark...please watch over Spencer for me and most of all...I love you and I always will..it wasn't Tyler it was you..." and with that he jumped.

Mark let out a pained scream as he ran towards Ethan in hopes to catch him in time but missed him and watched him plummet to the ground below his heart shattered completely "No!!! Damn it no!! Ethan!!!" He screamed at the sky and then ran down to the ground below calling Tyler on the way explaining what happened. When he got to the ground floor people had surrounded Ethan and there were paramedics around him but Mark knew he wouldn't make it and that killed him. He looked down at his best friend his possible love who's head was cracked open and bleeding severely and he had several broken limbs. Mark broke down into tears again as he sat on the curb watching the paramedics declare him DOA (Dead on arrival). Tyler walked up to Mark and hugged him tightly as he cried "Mark..what happened up there?.." Mark wiped his eyes "I got up there and tried to talk him out of it..he explained to me what was wrong that he felt like a waste of space and that people said he was using us for views and then told me he loved his best friend which I assumed was you..that upset him more then he was...he said he couldn't do this anymore and told me to take care of Spencer and then...he jumped Tyler...it's all my fault..." Tyler held him "It's not Mark...you didn't know..but the best thing is he's out of pain now..we will all miss him I know but he will always be here.." the two friends watched as they took Ethan away.
