Harry Potter- After the War [COMPLETED]

Chapter 7

After having a hour argument after the game (which they won after harry caught the snitch after 10 minutes of the game) harry had finally agreed to Ginny helping him out at the Ministry on Monday. Harry wanted to stop all death eaters before working at the ministry. On Monday Harry and Ginny walked into the Ministry holding hands. Harry didn't get much stares nowadays but he found it weird when he saw a few of the ministry members staring at him. He saw Percy and walked towards him. "Hi Harry" Percy said greeting harry. "Hello sister" he said to Ginny with a smile.

"Percy, who was your girlfriend in your fifth year?" Harry asked quietly. Percy looked at him weirdly and answered the question slowly and quietly.

"Penelope Clearwater" Percy said. Harry nodded and whispered in Percy's ear.

"Intruders in the ministry, anyone you see constantly drinking don't trust them" harry whispered. Percy nodded and walked towards the elevator with harry.

"Are you going to the auror deparement?" Percy asked.

"No we are going to see Kingsley" harry said quietly and he looked towards the ground. Ginny gripped into Harry's hand tighter and they made their way out of the elevator and to Kingsley's office. Harry knocked on the door.

"Come in" Kingsley said. Harry opened the door slowly and made his way in with Ginny. "Oh hello Harry, what are you doing here?" Kingsley asked confused. Harry gave Ginny a look to tell her he wasn't an intruder. Ginny then mouthed 'still check'.

"Kingsley when did we first meet?" Harry asked. Kingsley looked at him weirdly but answered anyway.

"When I got you from privet drive in your fifth year" Kingsley said confused. "Why do you ask harry?" Kingsley asked. Harry smiled.

"It's just last week when I came to your office you told me I would start my new Auror job today. I was informed by an unknown person that the person who said that to me was an intruder... Kingsley have you ever woken up somewhere and you didn't have a clue on how you got there?" Harry asked. Kingsley thought for a moment and nodded.

"Yes I have"

"Minister you need to be more careful" Ginny said. Kingsley nodded.

Thankfully there were no attacks on harry at the ministry, this was probably because no one was able to knock out Kingsley in time for when harry came. The truth was that after Kingsley had waken up in a strange place he knew he had to be more careful. He remembered that day he walked into work and no body was telling him how late he was... Not even Arthur Weasley who was the back up Minister for incase Kingsley was sick. Kingsley thought this was weird and now he knew why. Kingsley told Harry that he'd give him a job after all the intruders in the ministry were gone. Harry happily agreed and Ginny and himself made there way home.

"So you're just going to stay out of it?" Ginny asked. Harry glanced at her and nodded. He then walked to the kitchen and told Krencher to make Burgers and chips for dinner. He walked back out to Ginny. "I just think it's weird that you're choosing to stay out of it"

"I never choose if I want to stay out of something or not, most of the time the trouble comes to me and well thats kind of why I agreed to staying out it because I knew that if it happens to come to me I'll just wing it" harry said casually before flopping on the couch. Ginny Laid next to him and he wrapped his arm securely around her. Harry whispered in her ear. "Is my Ginny turning eighteen next week?" Harry asked with a smirk.

"No" Ginny said blushing. Harry chuckled and kissed Ginny on the cheek softly. "I just don't want you to make a big deal out of it" Ginny said quietly. Harry rolled his eyes playfully.

"Oh come on babe it's your eighteenth and I'll always make a big deal out of your birthday because you're everything to me" harry said quietly and romantically. Ginny turned to face him and she kissed him hard on the lips. Harry kissed back wrapping his arms around her. Ginny pulled away and giggled. "I love you" harry whispered.

"I love you too" Ginny whispered in his ear. "And I just told that to my whole world"
