Oshane's POV
"We meet again," I say to a devastated looking Christine sitting in her car, staring out of space as if she's awaiting the arrival of somebody. Her eyes meet mine and her eyes automatically roll, I wonder if she ever stops rolling them."Oshane was it?" She fakes a smile and hops out of the car. She's a little below my shoulder, she looks up at me and smiles, a genuine one this time.
"Yes and you're Tina?" I ask even though I know.
"You remember?" she smiled and I saw an opportunity to flirt so I took it.
"I never forget a face as pretty as yours, but it was also just an hour ago and my memory isn't that bad," I laugh and she smiles.
"Well thank you," she smiles and she's too dark for me to tell if her cheeks are pink or not and I smile to myself as I think about it.
"Why yuh out here btw?" I ask and she rolls her eyes, for like the tenth time now.
"Stop rolling your eyes and answer me," I ordered as I lifted her head by her chin with my index finger.
"Don't talk to me like that, I'm here because of car trouble obviously," she tells me as she pulls her head away from me. I don't like that but then again there's really nothing I can do about it. At least she was obedient, just in a very rude way.
"You're a very stubborn girl, I can tell," I smirk and she turns and walks back into her car. I decided to check the bonnet/hood and realized her radiator was empty. So I checked for leaks and found one. I had an extra hose so I repaired it, it wasn't anything too major so it was handled right away.
"Do you have water?" I ask the young woman that's now mad at me for earlier, I guess she doesn't like being spoken to.
"Yes," she responds with no emotion. She asked no questions. She just handed me a half gallon bottle of water through the window and put her headphones back on. .
I don't say anything about it, I just finish what I have to and get it over with. I put the pressure cap back on and handed her the bottle of water.
"Thank you," she says, face still blank. She hands me a wipe to clean my now greasy hands.
"You're welcome, be safe," I say to her and once more she rolls her eyes. I'm beginning to wonder if she even realizes that she does it or if it's on purpose.
"Bye Shaney," she smiles slightly. Nickname already? It's cute though so I'm not complaining.
"Bye Tina," I smiled and she started her engine not long after she stopped it to run and hug me from behind. Her soft chest pressed against my lower back and her head rested on my back. Her being so trusting made me mad but it also made me smile.
She let me go after a little while and went back to her car where she got in and drove off. I like her, her stubbornness makes me want to challenge her.
I go home to my ex and she has some man in my house. But she must lose har fucking mind. I stand at the door wondering if this girl knows who the fuck she dated.
"Alaine!" I shout and I can hear her rushing to put his stuff together.
"Yes?" she answers in a panicked tone.
"Deven bother rush enuh, just pack and lef wid him. Yuh deh yah how fucking long and look like yuh naav no intention fi leave. Nuh care how or where yah guh guh enuh just know a next day nah pass and yuh in here," I say in a calm and laid back voice. I really wasn't in the mood to be upset right now.
She and whoever the man is packed and they left together. I had young Aldaine in my hands because he was still asleep when we got home which made making something to eat easy. I put him in his bed and went into the kitchen to get something to eat.
