Tina's POV
Sunday, 6:41p.mWe have just arrived at the gate of the hotel and the sign reads "Simmonds' Hotel Resort". He brought me to his own hotel, smart. He doesn't have to pay here so it would only make sense.
The scenery here is beautiful, breathtaking if you will. The ocean breeze is cool and the sun is going down. I've been to hotels before but none quite like this one. It has everything a normal hotel does but vintage style. It's more like an inn to be honest.
We get to the check in and he just collects a key and we head up to a room. The room I now know to be room 13. We entered the room with the key he was given and I dropped everything on the floor beside the bed and sat down, taking a deep breath expressing my obvious exhaustion.
"I'm going to go get something sorted out, I'll be back in a few minutes," Oshane tells me and I nod in agreement.
A few minutes after he left my phone rang. I answered it without checking the caller ID.
"Hello, good evening. How may I help you?" I responded to the person on the line.
"What the fuck were you thinking?" a gruff male voice yelled at me through the phone. I'm a bit taken back by this but I don't lose my composure.
"What are you talking about?" I ask as soon as the male voice becomes familiar.
"What was that gun stunt you pulled?" he questions and I facepalm.
"Everything's fine and don't fucking yell at me," I reprimanded and he sighed.
"It better be, don't fuck this up and make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Do you understand?" he questions and I roll my eyes while I remove my pants.
"Fine," is all I say before he hangs up.
I hear the creaking of the door followed by Oshane's voice, "who was that? Are you okay?"
"Just my boss," I smile with a towel wrapped around my waist.
"Yuh sure? It did sound kinda intense," he quirks his right brow at me and I smile.
"Yeah, he was just mad because of some screw up last week but it's fine," I confirmed and he shrugged.
He attempted to go into the bathroom when I launched myself in front of him and ran into the bathroom. Slamming the door as soon as I was inside.
"Yuh serious Tina?" He laughs and shakes his head.
"Yes," I chuckle from inside the small room.
It's a small space, it's big enough for a shower, a faucet, a toilet and a towel cabinet. Inside looks quite modern given its vintage exterior. I'm inside for an hour and a half, having a mini concert in the process.
"Mi case Tina, mi ripe bro and yah tek too long," Shane complains whilst knocking on the door of the bathroom.
"Alright, alright done now nuh. Mi a come out," I give in to his pleading.
I turn off the shower and exit the bathroom with water dripping from my body. I step onto the mat that's exactly outside of the shower. I land in front of a mirror that allows me a full view of my body.
I spin a couple times, admiring my fairly clear skin with the exception of my scars and one tattoo, it's a lion, Tiger hybrid, also known as a liger. It's perfectly placed on the calf of my right leg.
"Christine!" he yells and I jump. I almost forgot he was here.
"I'm coming," I said, walking to the bathroom door. Opening it as soon as the knob was in my reach.
