We're on the way to his airport from my house. I had my things packed.

The air around us is sad and more so for me than them. I'm surely going to miss them both.

He thinks I'll be gone for maybe a few days to a few weeks max but I'm unsure if I'll be back at all.

I sigh and the tears threaten to escape the prison that's my eyelids.

We're here…

The hug I gave him when we stood in front of the open jet is one I'll forever remember. My heart drops more the longer I hug him. I hold his face and join our lips.

"Bye bye Aldaine," I wave and he runs into my arms. I hug and kiss his forehead.

"Bye bye buba," he says and once again I fight the tears that are pricking the back of my eyes like needles.

I walk towards the jet. It feels like I've been walking forever. I sat in first class and finally I let the dam break.

Why me?

Oshane's POV
Well fuck.

My girlfriend of almost a week just left for her home country on very short notice. I can't shake the feeling that something's wrong.

I've learnt that my "sixth sense" is a lot more alert than most people. There's definitely something off somewhere along the line.

I sit in the car and watch the craft take off. My heart feels like it's being ripped from my chest. Something tells me I won't be seeing her again anytime soon.

I watch as my 2 year old waved at the aircraft that's barely visible at this point.

"Come Aldy," I call my son and he stands stationed in place.

"Buba," he points at the jet that just left.

"Buba's gone," I tell him and it seems as if he understood because the crying that followed the statement is unbearable.

"I'll take you to see mommy," I try my best to calm him down and it seems to work because the crying isn't completely done but he's a bit calmer now.

The feeling that she won't be back is haunting and I'd rather not lie to my son.

What the fuck Christine?

Tina's POV
Eyes red and puffy and on the verge of a mental breakdown I pick up my phone and dial a number. A few rings in and the phone picks up.

"I'm here," I inform as I walk off of Oshane's jet. .

"Okay, good. I'll see you in a few hours,"

I sigh as the line goes silent. I dial once more and a new voice picks up. One I actually want to hear.

"Hola chica," Malie's voice greets my ears from the other side of the phone.

"Hey babe, I'm at the airport," I told her.

"You sound a little hoarse. I'm a minute away," she says and the comfort of seeing her again temporarily distracts me from the spiralling chaos going on in my life right now.

I stand waiting outside of the airport. A few minutes pass and a blue axio pulls up to my feet.

"Hi," the lightskin girl shrieks and hugs me and soon as she exited the car.

"Hey," I greet, sharing her excitement.

"Damn girl you look amazing," she compliments, her accent as thick as her thighs. I smile at her words.

"Thank you and you look just as good," I say returning the compliment.

I enter the car and her boyfriend is around the steering wheel. I can't stand him and for good reason but her leaving him is apparently not an option to her. I don't greet him and he doesn't greet me either.

"Where to?" she asks. Just then reality hit me like a bus. I'm really doing this.

"Cabeza de diablo," (devil's head) is my response.
