Oshane's POV
"Weh yuh mean yah guh home in a few days??" I ask.

"I'm going to visit my best friend in Spain," she says and I don't know why but I don't believe her. Her tone doesn't seem very convincing.

"Who were you speaking to just now?" I continue to interrogate.

"I just told you, Malie," she tells me.

Then why'd you need to leave to speak to her?

"Then why'd you need to leave to speak to her?" I ask cause what is she up to?

"I just needed to use the bathroom," she says and once again her tone doesn't seem very convincing.

"Okay," I say, deciding not to over think it because today's supposed to be a good day.

A few hours go by and it's about 9:30p.m. There's commotion downstairs so I decide to go see what's up.

"Remember how Miles get him name?" Omar laughs and the memory instantly comes back to mind.

"I was wondering where miles came from earlier today," Christine asks from the living room where everybody is.

"Well," my mother starts.

"When Owen was about 6 I sent him to go buy something at the shop near our house and he was afraid to go alone so he ran to the shop and back. I heard him breathing like a truck so I asked him what's wrong and he said "Mummy yuh nuh see mi just run miles" and  from that day till today the name stuck," the older woman laughed and so did everybody else. I remember that day so well as we were all in the kitchen. I chuckle to myself as I watch my brother face palms from embarrassment.

As I once said, leave it up to your mother to embarrass you.

"Alright mummy unu hop offa Miles now mn," I laugh as I dab him up before taking a seat beside my woman.

Tina's POV
I'm snuggled up to his chest as I enjoy the stories his family told of his childhood. They talked about how nerdy and soft Oshane was when he was a child and how much he enjoyed simple stuff like reading and I don't find it hard to believe. He definitely grew up tho.

"Really?" I ask after his mom said he used to have a pet duck that he called sunny when he was 8. He shoots me a look that could kill. This makes me laugh even more.

"A torture dis to bomboclaat," he says only loud enough for me to hear. This makes me laugh until I wheeze.

"Mummy done nuh mn, jus easy nuh mn. Yuh cya tell people dat," he protests and his mother continues laughing.

"No sah a cya manage, a guh leave unu alone now," she laughs and coughs, clearing her throat.

The kids that remain are upstairs sleeping at this point so we the adults are free to do as we so please. We'll be home by tomorrow. I have work so I have to go home very early.

After roughly an hour we head upstairs where we both hop in bed. We're sleeping in the same bed for the first time since we've officially been together.

5:30a.m.
I've been up for about 30 minutes and I made it my duty to make breakfast for everyone before heading upstairs to take a shower.

"Hey baby," I'm met with a tired looking Oshane brushing his teeth in the bathroom.

"Buenos Dias amor," I greet back. My Spanish accent is obvious as the words leave my mouth.

"Damn I like that, use your Spanish accent more often," he washes out his mouth as he connects our lips before lifting me and making me sit on the counter. He's between my legs so I use it to my advantage by wrapping my legs around him.

My hands find his abdomen and I trace his partially defined abs with my index.

"You're such a beautiful young woman," he compliments out of the blue after a few seconds of scanning my body. I'm currently dressed in booty shorts and a spaghetti strap blouse.

He massages my exposed thighs and he doesn't know how much he's torturing me just by this simple jester. If only he knew the control his mere presence has over me.

"I love you so much," I tell him honestly as I join our lips once more.

I'm so very sorry Shaney…
