After a lot of talking, Seungmin was finally comfortable around them; he already considered them friends because of how close he and Jisung had become in a span of a few hours.

"I'm jealous," Hyunjin uttered out of nowhere, crossing his arms as he spoke. "Huh, why?" Seungmin questions, "Who?" Minho asked, "Where?" Jisung inquired. The three of them shifted their heads to Hyunjin.

"How come it took a few chitchats for you guys to be close to Seungmin while I sat beside him every day for weeks, yet he still was cold to me?" He complained, pretending to be mad. "Yeah, Seungmin, why is that?" Minho asked, curious.

"I guess it's because I preferred not to have friends a few months ago?" Seungmin answered in a questioning tone, he himself not knowing the reason.

"What made you decide that you wanted friends, though?" Jisung added. "I discovered that it was comforting to have a good friend's company," Seungmin replied. He wasn't dropping any names, but everyone knew exactly who he was talking about.

"How nice," Hyunjin uttered, looking directly at Seungmin's gaze.

"Mom I'm-" He paused. Right, he wasn't talking to his mom yet. "Son, your home, where have you been?" She smiled, yet Hyunjin just stared at her. Looking at her without an expression on his face.

"I-i haven't been drinking ever since that day, and I found a job so that you don't have to work anymore." She was trying hard not to cry in front of her son.

"You knew?" was his only reply. She knew Hyunjin was working yet did not do anything until now. She didn't even bother to ask.

"Just recently, I'm really sorry for not being the mom you deserve, but I'm trying." Tears finally fell from her eyes, wiping away the liquid from her face. With that, he immediately hugged his mom. "It's okay; I'm sorry for ignoring you." Now he too, was also crying.

He was sad that they needed an argument before his mom could realize, but he was happy she was finally improving and trying.

Hyunjin spent those three days focusing on himself. He decided not to quit the job because he actually enjoyed working with Minho.

Seungmin, on the other hand, spent those days thinking of a specific someone, while Minho and Jisung had been enjoying their time with each other. Everything was going well, who would've thought that getting stuck in a library could lead to the start of a good friendship?

"What are we doing so early here?" Hyunjin asked; they were on the way to the cafe where Jisung worked. "Yeah? Doesn't he have school too?" Seungmin added, starting to regret that he came along with them. Never in a hundred years did Seungmin think that we would be walking to school with these guys. "Ji only has classes after lunch on Fridays, so he works in the morning."

Minho pulled the glass door open to the familiar cafe. Jisung was found making a cup of coffee for a customer.

"Iced latte for Felix and cold brew for Changbin!" Jisung shouted. Those names sounded familiar. "Felix? Changbin?" Hyunjin wasn't hallucinating, it was them! "Hyunjin and Seungmin!" Felix pulled them into a hug. "It's been a while! how are you guys?" Changbin asked, recalling that the last time they saw each other was in the party.

Apparently, they went to the same school as Jisung, which was near the cafe! "So you're the Minho?" Felix was excited to finally meet Jisung's boyfriend, whom he keeps talking about. "Yes, that would be me." Minho was happy to hear that Jisung had been talking about him with his friends.

"For a second, I thought Jisung was lying when he said you were a total hottie, now I get why he likes you a lot!" Felix was just exposing Jisung at this point. "Ehm, I'm over here?" Changbin uttered, getting the attention of his boyfriend. "Of course not hotter than my boyfriend," Felix laughed. "Wait- are you guys??" Seungmin thought they were only friends, did he miss something?

"Oh yeah, we only told Hyunjin!" Felix remembered. "Technically, we didn't tell him; he caught us making out," Changbin giggled, recalling the embarrassing memory. "Basically, we decided not to keep it a secret anymore!" Felix said happily.

And just like that, friendship grew between all of them. "Bye Ji," Minho and the others had to go to school.

The art presentation got moved today, so they got the canvas just in time before class. "Next, Hwang and Kim," the teacher called. They finally took off the cloth covering the canvas, revealing a very beautiful painting of Alice in wonderland.

"This artwork shows our struggles as teenagers through this character named Alice," Hyunjin explained in front of the class.

"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland represents the child's struggle to survive in the confusing world of adults. To understand the adult world, Alice has to overcome the open-mindedness that is characteristic for children. Apparently, adults need rules to live by. Which perfectly describes us and our struggles as teenagers trying to fit in the world of adults." Seungmin spoke.

They received applause from the class for that presentation, they were happy because they were certain to get a high grade with that.

"Well done, you may now take your seat," The teacher said, interrupted when the principal suddenly spoke through the school speakers, "Lee from class A, Hwang and Kim from class B, please go to the principal's office immediately." all eyes were suddenly on them.

Hearing his name made Seungmin's heart drop. Everyone was confused why they got called, but the three already had an idea why. Sensing eyes on them as they walked out of the classroom made Hyunjin more nervous.

They were certain to get in trouble.
