Shopping with Jisung was surprisingly fun. Who would've thought that Seungmin would be in a fitting room trying out clothes Jisung picked for him?

"That looks so good on you!" Jisung exclaimed. "This or this?" Jisung was struggling to pick "Just get both; I'll be the one to pay anyway." Seungmin proceeded to pay.

They got out of the mall with shopping bags in both hands. "You decided to take it slow? Gosh, you guys are boring." Of course, Seungmin had to tell Jisung about what happened between him and Hyunjin.

"We just don't want to rush it; plus, we've only known each other for a couple of months," Seungmin explained. "Reasonable," Jisung replied.

Is it even considered slow if they chat each other 24/7? When they literally don't leave each other's side in school? When Hyunjin practically lives in Seungmin's house because of how often he visits? When they would drive to places only they knew?

Is it taking it slow or just not putting a label?

"Seung, you good?" Hyunjin asked. They were in the woods, surrounded by different trees with different colors. "Yeah, just a random thought, but don't you think that we're very similar?" Seungmin stated. "How so?" Yeah, they had similarities, but they were also diverse.

"You know, cause socially speaking, we're the same with runaway fathers and mothers who drank," Seungmin muttered. His father couldn't be contacted while Hyunjin's dad was with another woman. If you look at it that way, they were the same.

"Let's not think about that right now. Instead, let's think about how I will introduce you to mom tomorrow"

Hyunjin changed the topic. He didn't like Seungmin thinking about those. "Introduce me to your mom?" Seungmin did not expect that. "I don't see why not? Your mother knows me already so why not introduce you to mine?" This made Seungmin happy, happy that Hyunjin was willing to tell his mom about him and not keep him a secret.

"I haven't told her about us yet, though. I'm planning to tell her when you're with me, so tomorrow would be perfect." Hyunjin had planned this all out.

"About us? What are we in the first place?" Seungmin blurted out. They both knew they liked each other, and they both agreed on taking it slow, but that brings us back to his question... What were they then?

He was excited. His mom was cooking because Seungmin was going come over for dinner just like he planned. His mom would finally meet the boy that always made him happy ever since he moved here, Seungmin.

He rushed to the door when the doorbell rang.

"Seung, come in." Seungmin didn't know why he was nervous, though the smell of food made him calm down.

Taking a seat beside Hyunjin at the dinner table as he wandered his eyes around the house, noticing the baby pictures of Hyunjin hanging on the wall. "Cute," he thought, seeing younger Hyunjin through photographs.

Hyunjin's mother was surprisingly nice. Seungmin thought she'd be strict, just like Hyunjin says, but she was quite the opposite, she was kind, and she kept offering him food.

"Here, have more dumplings." She put them on Seungmin's plate. "I'm glad you came over; Hyunjin was excited for me to meet you," she stated.

"I'm glad to finally meet you too," Seungmin spoke. "So, what's between you guys? I don't want to assume anything, but I know for sure that Hyunjin won't bring any regular friend over to have dinner with his mom." She went straight to the point.

"Oh, we're just... friends," Seungmin uttered. "At the moment," Hyunjin added.

What a bold thing to say in front of your mom. "Oh, is that so?" She smiled, "Don't worry, I'm not here to stop you guys, but I also want both of you to be careful because young love don't last for life."

She knew they weren't ready for the emotional roller coaster life brings once they grow up, but then again, who was she to think that?

"Lix, why don't we invite friends over?" Changbin asked. Felix was planning to host a party since his parents wouldn't be here for the weekend. Originally, it was only supposed to be a sleepover with Changbin, but since they had new friends, why not invite them? "That would be a great idea! I'll tell them right now."

While washing the dishes, both Hyunjin's and Seungmin's phone vibrated.

"You and others have been added to the GC"

Felix
"Hey, guys! Mini party at my house this Saturday, come over!"

The others responded with a yes, but the two over here were just leaving them on seen. "You coming, Hyunjin?" Seungmin asked. Hyunjin was still getting used to Seungmin calling him that. "Only if you are," he replied. "Sure, let's come," Seungmin said.

"Bye, Ms. Hwang, bye, Hyunjin." Seungmin waved goodbye from the car.

"My son is in love!" His mother exclaimed as soon as Seungmin's car drove away. "Mom, stop, that's embarrassing." His ears were turning red. "Fine, fine." She stopped teasing him. Hyunjin was glad his mom and Seungmin got along.
