"Innie!" After a while of looking for Jeongin in the crowded train station, they finally found him. "Hyung!" They pulled each other into a tight hug. "Don't do that again; what if something happens to you, huh?" Not even a minute after seeing Jeongin, Hyunjin was already nagging the poor kid. Seungmin just watched this scene unfold in front of him.
"Ehm-" Seungmin subtly coughed. They have been hugging for quite a while now. "Oh yeah, Innie meet Seungmin, my friend, and Seungmin meet Jeongin," Hyunjin introduced. "Nice to finally meet you, Seungmin hyung. Hyung has been telling me so much about yo-" Hyunjin covered his mouth before he could even finish the sentence.
"Okay, enough with that nonsense; let's go now." They got out of the train station. "Seung, we'll be going now; thanks for the ride," Hyunjin said, getting out of the car. "You guys don't want a ride home? It's still pretty early." Seungmin offered. "We're not going home though; we're going to the amusement park that we were supposed to go to," Hyunjin spoke.
"We?" Seungmin was confused; he doesn't recall Hyunjin saying anything about amusement parks? "Yeah... The one you declined, remember?" Hyunjin reminded. So it was from him! "I actually didn't know it was from you; if I had known, then I wouldn't have declined it," Seungmin finally said.
How could Seungmin not know that it was from him? He was sure to put a... name! He forgot to put a name! How stupid of him! "Enough with this misunderstanding, Seungmin hyung just come with us; I'll be the one to buy you a ticket!" Jeongin offered. "It's very Hyunjin of you to forget to put a name," Jeongin added, giggling.
They arrived at the amusement park, which was huge with many rides. "Hyung's let's go to the Vikings first!" The three of them sat at the very back of the ride mainly because Jeongin dragged them. Jeongin, who was in the middle of Hyunjin and Seungmin, was enjoying the ride; the people beside them, however, were not.
Screaming every time the ride goes up, "WAHHHHH!" Hyunjin shouted. Seungmin, however, was quiet, but that was only because he was too scared to even open his mouth.
"That was so fun! Let's go for a second round!" Jeongin said happily. "NO!" Hyunjin and Seungmin were coincidentally syncing. "Let's try the games next," Hyunjin offered instead, and both followed.
They went to a game where they needed to shoot the balloons with a toy gun. "I'm good at this watch." Hyunjin aimed the gun directly at the balloons and shot three in a row. Happy he won the game "Here is your price, sir." The girl gave him a huge bunny plushie.
"Woah, it's so big! Can I have it, hyung?" Jeongin asked. Hyunjin, of course, gave it to him.
Seungmin was starting to feel left out since the two seemed like they had their own world. Watching Hyunjin give the plushie to Jeongin was his last straw. Why was he feeling that way? Was he jealous? They just seemed like close friends, why would he be jealous anyway? It's not like it mattered... Right?
"Seung, where do you want to eat?" Hyunjin asked. In front of them were restaurants they could choose from. "How about pasta?" Seungmin recommended as he's been craving that for a while now. "We're in Busan; let's have seafood!" Jeongin spoke, disregarding Seungmin's suggestion.
They ended up going for seafood and are now currently ordering. Who was Seungmin to decline? Jeongin seemed like he really wanted to eat that anyway.
"I love this view! I forgot how beautiful Busan is after not being here in a while," Jeongin said while looking at the ocean. "You've been here before?" Seungmin asked, making conversation with the younger. "Yeah, I used to live here with Grandma before she passed," he uttered, still looking at the view.
The food was soon served, and everyone was enjoying it.
"Hyung, can you help me with the shrimp?" Jeongin pointed at the food. Hyunjin removed the shell of the shrimp effortlessly and gave it to Jeongin.
Seungmin was not having it with this crab and seeing Hyunjin help Jeongin when he was here struggling made him a tad bit jealous whether he'd admit it or not. "I feel like a third wheel here," Seungmin was bummed knowing that if he didn't decline, he'd be here with Hyunjin right now without Jeongin.
They rode Seungmin's car again going home. Seungmin sat beside the driver, while the two were at the back.
"You can't always run away, Innie; it was okay when we lived close, but now that I'm in Busan, you can't always go to me with every inconvenience you experience," Hyunjin reprimanded. "I know, hyung, I was just really hurt today," Jeongin uttered sadly.
"Speaking of that, you think I don't notice that you've been ignoring Chan hyung's calls?" Chan has been ringing Jeongin's phone since the moment he got into Busan, but Jeongin was too scared to answer. "I'll call him back when I'm ready." Jeongin looked at the eight missed call notifications from "Channie hyung <3"
"How about school?" Hyunjin had almost forgotten. "I'll be taking online classes for the week; I already told dad, and he already talked to the school about it," Jeongin retorted.
"One week? Isn't that too long?" Hyunjin asked. "Let's just say that I'm here for a week because I'm visiting Busan and not because I wanted to see my best friend for emotional support because I subtly got rejected," he claimed.
Moments later, the car went silent, Seungmin looked at the back only to see that the two had fallen asleep.
"Best friends? Rejected? Chan hyung?" "So they aren't together! Thank God-wait-why would I care? He could be married and I could care less." Thoughts lurked in Seungmin's mind.
