Taehyun goes to Hyunjin, "They're offering you an opportunity to work with them. This will help promote your art and make you known worldwide. The value of your work will surely go up with this project, but they want you to work in their main branch." Taehyun explains.

"It seems like a great deal, and it has lots of benefits. Where's the main branch? Seoul?" Hyunjin asks.

"America, New York, to be exact. It's known to be the art capital of the world."

"Quite far, but it will do. How long is the contract?"

"A year.."

The place was spectacular. It was dim while stars projected from above. Everyone looked out of this world with their outfits, but no one could outshine the grooms, literally.

Chan was standing there in his gold metallic suit, waiting for the love of his life to walk down the aisle. The music changed, and the door opened. There he was, holding a bouquet of flowers, walking side by side with his parents. Chan was holding his tears, while Jeongin was already crying.

...

"You may now kiss the groom."

The wedding was emotional, the afterparty, however.. "SHOT! SHOT! SHOT!" Felix says as Jisung drinks the alcohol.

Beomgyu and Taehyun are drinking wine together while they watch Felix and Jisung get drunk. This reminded them of the parties they used to have in Felix's house.

Changbin and Minho were on the other side of the room playing billiards, and the score is not looking good for Changbin. The newlyweds are eating cake, feeding each other with each bite.

"Not in the mood to drink, love?" Seungmin asks Hyunjin since his energy seemed to be less than usual. "I have to drive," Hyunjin responds.

He had things on his mind that he had to clear up. "Seung, I'm in a dilemma.." He finally lets out. The two went out, far from the loud noise of the party. They sat near the water fountain, where Hyunjin was finally able to explain.

"It's a huge job opportunity! You shouldn't miss anything like this," Seungmin says, happy for Hyunjin. "But it's a year and time zones, and-" Seungmin cut off the older, "Don't let me be a hindrance to your dreams and future achievements, Hyunjin. I'll always be here, no matter how far you are. We managed years without each other; I'm sure a year is nothing," he says, holding Hyunjin's hands.

He'd lie if he said he wasn't sad about this news, they barely see each other because of work, now you're telling me that he's going to a whole other continent?! But then again, this is an opportunity that Hyunjin can't miss; all Seungmin wants is the best for Hyunjin.

"Okay.. but I'll have to leave by next week," Hyunjin says sadly. He didn't want to leave Seungmin, not when he finally has him back.

"Distance brings fondness; you said that to me. Plus, the sooner you leave, the sooner you come back." Seungmin smiles, trying to stay optimistic for Hyunjin even though he himself is also hurting.

With Seungmin's force and Taehyun's nagging, Hyunjin finally accepted the project, which is why they're in the airport right now. Taehyun also needed to come because he's Hyunjin's right hand, but he wasn't too sad knowing Beomgyu would be there on holidays.

"Call me when you land, okay?" Seungmin says. "I will miss you," Hyunjin pulls the younger into a tight hug. "Take care of Kkami for me, please," he adds. "I will, now go before you miss your flight."

A week has passed; taking care of Kkami wasn't the easiest, mostly because this dog is a brat, but Seungmin can manage. Hyunjin entrusted Minho to look after his house in Busan. Long distance was hard; sometimes Hyunjin would call at two p.m. and it would be three a.m. for Seungmin.

Two weeks have passed. Hyunjin finally got over jet lag, but he was getting home sick. Work-wise, everything is going better than expected. His art was slowly getting known in the states, and some people recognized him on the streets. Beomgyu is also currently in New York to visit Taehyun and to travel.

Three weeks have passed, and Seungmin is very busy since he has a project of his own. He never thought he'd be given a chance to design for the Met Gala, but here he is. He was designing an outfit for Jennie, a famous K-pop idol who was invited to the Met. Both seemed to be busy, so calls and messages were less.

Four weeks have passed, Hyunjin had been painting a lot since he was told that his paintings would be put in a museum as decorations for this huge event. Though he wasn't sure what the event was, all he knew was that his artwork would be put in a museum, and that kept him busy.

Five weeks, exactly a month have passed.

"Aren't you excited?" Jeongin asks Seungmin, who just finished making the outfit. "Of course I am, I can't wait to see her walk up those stairs with my design," Seungmin says. "I'm jealous you get to go with THE Jennie!!" Jeongin exclaimed.

"What?" Seungmin seemed unaware. "Don't tell me you don't know.." Jeongin looked at Seungmin, stunned. "What am I supposed to know exactly...?" All Jeongin was beyond shocked. "You're so clueless! You're going to the Met as Jennie's plus one!! How could you not know?!?!"

Wow, he's been so busy with the outfit that he didn't even know that he was going.

And just like that, he was in New York. He didn't tell Hyunjin about him coming because he wanted it to be a surprise, but he was the one who got surprised after seeing Hyunjin's paintings all over the Metropolitan Museum, where the event was held.

"Seung, there you are!" Someone called him from behind, and he knew exactly who it was. It didn't take a second before the two hugged each other. "How did you know I was here- How are you here?!" Seungmin was flabbergasted.

"I didn't know until thirty minutes ago when they interviewed you, I can't believe you didn't tell me!" Seungmin forgot that those interviews were being broadcast live.

"I wanted to surprise you, but I'm the one surprised with your artworks here. Look how far you've come; I'm so proud of you."

"Says you, you're here right now too."

Come to think of it, they both achieved something big despite being far from each other, yet destiny still brought them together.
