This was his dream! Never in his life thought that he would ever be eating with his longtime crush in a fancy restaurant, yet here he was. Though he was happy, the thought of what Chan could say scared him. It made him nervous. He was aware that Chan went all the way to Busan to talk to him, but he couldn't help but overthink.

"Jeongin, everything all right? You seem tense," Chan asked. "I'm fine, but get straight to the point. If you're going to reject me, just say it." That wasn't supposed to come out of his mouth, but it did.

"Stop thinking about that, let's enjoy the dinner before we talk."

Jeongin couldn't read Chan, which made him even more curious as to what he'd say.

They enjoyed a fancy meal that included steak and an expensive dessert. The fact that Jeongin has to pay zero amount for all these made it tastier. "Hyung just say what you have to say." Jeongin was getting desperate. "Patience, babe, let me finish my food." he uttered while Jeongin over here nearly choked on his banana split.

"Babe?" Jeongin's eyes widen. Was his nervousness making him hallucinate and hear words?

"Look, I know I should've been more expressive with my feelings, but I didn't go all the way here to reject you. In fact, I thought you were going to reject me, but you said your feelings even before I could say mine."

"I'm sorry it seemed like I ignored you that day, but I didn't mean to; trust me. I like you, Jeongin, I really do, and I'd rather you hate me than think that I tried to avoid you just because you confessed your feelings. I'm also here to tell you the words I couldn't say that day because I was too surprised.

"I like you too, Jeongin, very much. I've liked you since we were in grade school. Why do you think you're the only one I treat like a younger brother? Again, I'm sorry I didn't show my feelings well, but it was only because I wanted to be a hyung you could rely on. I was scared that if I showed that I liked you, you'd avoid me."

Tears blurred Jeongin's vision. The last thing he expected with this dinner was Chan confessing his feelings to him. He felt Chan's thumb swipe his tears away, but that only made him cry more. Who knew that his grade school crush liked him back all this time?

He wasn't going to wait any longer, he'd been waiting all his life for this moment.

"Hyung, will you be my boyfriend?" He said through sobs. "From this day on, I'll always be yours, my Jeongin." My Jeongin It sounded so nice hearing that from Chan, he couldn't wish for anything more.

"So that's how it went! Hyung I can't believe I got a boyfriend even before you did!" They were on their way to the train station because both Chan and Jeongin were finally going back to Seoul.

"Whatever, Innie," Hyunjin rolled his eyes playfully. Their train arrived, and it was time to bid them goodbye.

"Bye, Seungmin hyung! It was nice meeting you! Bye, Hyunjin hyung! I'll always call you!" They hugged each other. "Chan hyung, take care of Innie," Hyunjin said.

"Of course, I will. Bye, Hyunjin." They hopped in as the train went away.

"Aren't they cute?" Seungmin spoke. "Hey Seung, are you free today? Let's go somewhere nice." Hyunjin thought it would be nice to take a breath of fresh air.

"Are you sure you can drive? If anything happens to this car, I'm dead!" With that said, Hyunjin also offered to drive the car after bringing the family driver home.

"I used to always drive in Seoul; don't worry, I won't put you or your car in danger." They drove miles and miles away, finally reaching their location. Seungmin fell asleep, but Hyunjin woke him up or else he'd miss the nice view of the sunset.

They were on a short hill but tall enough to see the ocean, the houses, and the beautiful view, made even prettier by the sunset.

"It's so pretty here, how did you even discover this place?" Seungmin looked up, seeing the orange and yellow shades in the sky. "I just found it while wandering around."

He pulled out a pack of gummies for them to eat. Yes, those gummies. Seungmin didn't know if Hyunjin knew that it was from him, Hyunjin wasn't saying a word about it, though.

"It's you who gave this, right?" Hyunjin held the pack of gummies. Seungmin couldn't deny it but how on earth did Hyunjin know? "I saw you and Jisung jump in the bushes, it was funny." Hyunjin giggled. That explains it. "Yeah, I wanted to give that as an apology for running away last time."

That was totally not the reason, but ok. "Why did you run away?" Seungmin didn't know what to say. Was he just going to say the truth that he ran away because he discovered his feelings for Hyunjin?

"Seung?" The silence was getting awkward.

"What are you waiting for, then? Go confess!" Is he willing to get his heart hurt if Hyunjin doesn't like him back? Maybe. Seungmin finally organized his scattered thoughts and decided to just say it. "Hyunjin, I lik-"

"Seung, I like you, maybe even more than just friends." He uttered, regretting nothing about what he said. Seungmin didn't know what to say- what to reply. His mind just went... blank.

"Wait- did you just call me Hyunjin?" That was... unusual? New? Now both were in shock.

SAY SOMETHING SEUNGMIN!

"Yes, yes I did and I like you too, Hyunjin, more than friends..." Words that managed to escape the youngers mouth.
