It's only been half a month since he moved to Seoul. Living with his stepmother wasn't as bad as he thought; he could see that she was trying her best for her Seungmin to get along, but no, she was not his mother and will never be.

"Bye, Seung," she said, waving her hand. Seung... "Don't call me that," he firmly says.

"Only he can call me that."

Hyunjin never really left his mind, which was ironic since he was the one who broke up with him.

"Seungmin hyung?!" a familiar voice called him. "What are you doing here? Hyunjin hyung said you guys broke up and you moved to-Shit, I need my phone. "

Oh no...

"Jeongin, can you not tell him, please?" Seungmin pleaded.

"Why not? You literally left him without explanation. You hurt him, hyung, more than you know," Jeongin says. Seungmin knew that, and that was the part that he hated the most, hurting Hyunjin.

"I'll explain, but in return, do not utter a word about me to him or to them," Seungmin said, referring to the friend group he also left in Busan.

"Deal, meet me at the cafe after school." No matter how much Jeongin wanted to get mad at Seungmin for hurting Hyunjin's feelings and leaving him without a proper explanation, he also wanted to hear Seungmin's side; maybe he had a valid reason.

For now, the only thing Seungmin has to worry about is getting familiar with this new school.

It was sad that he had to change schools when he just transferred last school year, but what can he do? He had no choice. This school was a lot bigger though since it was a famous university in Seoul. he plans on studying here for college since he was already here anyway, why not make the most of it?

Seungmin entered the unfamiliar cafe, recalling memories of the familiar one in Busan. He missed home. Seoul might be a nice city, but his heart will always be in Busan.

"So hyung, what happened?" Jeongin asked while munching on cookies. "I-i..." What really did happen? "I'll start with my mother," Seungmin started telling his story.

No, it wasn't his obligation to tell any of this to Jeongin, but he wanted to. He wanted to let it all out and explain to someone his side- the part of him that he refused to let out.

"That's why I'm here," Seungmin finished. "Now I understand... but don't you think Hyunjin hyung deserves an explanation too?" Jeongin was right, he did.

"He does, but he won't let go if I tell him. I don't want him wasting his time and effort on someone like me; he deserves better." Seungmin sadly smiled. "That's why you won't say a word about this, okay?"

"Okay hyung, I won't," Jeongin held his pinky finger up. Jeongin felt guilty. He wanted to say everything to Hyunjin, but it wasn't his place to do that. For now, he just has to stay quiet.

"Hyung, since you're here, let's be close! I've been lonely since Channie hyung left for college" Jeongin fumed. "Okay, okay, sure." Seungmin smiled, he needed a friend after all.

"Speaking of Channie hyung, there he is!" Jeongin pointed at the older "Sorry I'm late, my professor was- Seungmin?!" Chan was surprised.

"Hyung, can I tell him?" Jeongin asks Seungmin. "Fine, fine"

"If we're really meant to be, then maybe destiny will bring us back together." Seungmin read as he flipped through the next page, reading the next line.

"Distance brings fondness; I'll see you again, my love," he closed the book. He had enough reading for today. He looked through his window, seeing the stars in the sky.

"I'll see you again, my love," he muttered, repeating the line from the book.

"SHOT! SHOT! SHOT!" People shouted as Hyunjin took another shot of tequila for not shooting the ping pong ball in the red cup.

While Seungmin was in Seoul sleeping, Hyunjin here in Busan was partying and getting himself drunk. Drinking makes you forget, right? Why spend the rest of his life sad and sober when he could just be happy and drunk?

"Someone get him before he pukes on the pool," Felix says while looking at Hyunjin, who was clearly out of his mind. "Let him be; it's not any of our houses anyway," Changbin replied.

"Stop worrying about him puking; he's literally drowning!" Jisung shouted; they took one look away from Hyunjin, and he had already fallen into the pool. "Shit, I'll get him," Minho jumped in the pool.

"Stand up, the pool is literally three feet," Minho says, struggling to get Hyunjin out of the kiddie pool. "Why did you leave me!" Hyunjin was now suddenly crying.

"I'm literally here," Minho brings the crying dude in the bathroom, drying him up with a towel he randomly found. "Ji, hand me the plastic bag; I don't feel like being vomited on today."

"Guys, Beomgyu is telling people to leave; make it quick," Felix says to the three inside the bathroom. "Who even is Beomgyu?" Changbin asks. "The owner of this house, the one who held the party?" Oh, that Beomgyu! They better get out fast before he discovers that Hyunjin has fallen in his pool and is now messing up his bathroom.

He woke up with a pounding on his head in an unfamiliar house, wearing unfamiliar clothes. "Ouch," he muttered.

"You're awake," Minho said to the now-sober Hyunjin. "Why am I here? What happened?" If only he could remember. He looks at his clothes, remembering it wasn't the one he wore last night. "HYUNG DID WE-?!" Hyunjin suddenly stood up.

"Did we what...?" Minho was clueless until he realized what Hyunjin was referring to. "WHAT? NO! Why would you think that?! Are you still drunk?!" What was Hyunjin thinking? Minho would never do that, not when he had Jisung.

This was Hyunjin's way of coping, trying to move on. It wasn't healthy, but at least it made him forget. Soon enough, he'll forget about him and live his life like he used to... without him.

He had the others anyway, and they were enough for him; at least they're not like other people who'd leave without explanation.
