"Hello everyone, I've been waiting for you." The space hero; 13 greeted us as the bus drives away. Izuku began fanboying, covering his mouth with his hands so he doesn't embarrass himself by saying too much. Ochako went on to say how 13 was her favorite hero.
"I can't wait to show you what's inside." 13 said, gesturing us to follow along inside.
"This is going to be awesome." Most of the class said in sync as we bow respectfully before following the space hero inside the building.
The place was massive. The facility consists of a done-shaped building -that we are currently inside of- composed of eight main sections, with six of them emulating a particular environmental factor.
Midnight's told me a little about this place. The Ruins Zone: Located in the northeast, this one simulates a destroyed urban environment, with buildings found in precarious conditions. Landside Zone: Located to the east, this zone simulated sloped terrain with building remains. Mountain Zone: Located to the south, this zone simulates a rocky, mountainous area, filled with cliffs. Conflagration Zone: Located to the southwest, this zone simulates an urban environment that is constantly on fire. Flood Zone: Located to the west, this zone simulates a maritime environment. It contains a ship as well as a waterslide. Downpour Zone: Located to the northwest, this zone simulates an urban environment that is constantly hit by heavy rainfall and strong winds.
"Holy crap! It looks like some sort of amusement part!" Sero exclaimed.
"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a wind storm, etcetera." 13 went said pointing at the various landscapes. "I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters."
"I call it, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint! But you can call it USJ!" 13 exclaimed. Universal Studios of Japan was the first thing that popped into everyone's mind for sure, which was an actual theme park.
"Hey, shouldn't All Might be here already?" Aizawa asked, walking up to 13. "Let me guess... he booked an interview instead." Ooh~ Mr. Aizawa/Eraser Head is throwing the shade. Y-ouch.
"It's something else." 13 said, catching his attention. "He did too much hero work on the way to school this morning and used up all his power." 13 said, holding up 3 fingers. "He's resting in the teacher's lounge."
"That man is the hype of irresponsibility." Mr. Aizawa said dully. He then turned to us. "The clock's ticking. We should get started."
"Excellent! Before we begin, let me say one thing. Well, maybe two things... possibly 3... 4 or 5..."
"We get it." Students said impatiently. Cutting 13's rambling off.
"Listen carefully." 13 said, now sounding serious. "I'm sure you're aware that I have a powerful quirk. It's called a black hole. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it to dust."
"Yeah! You've used black holes to save hundreds of people from disasters before, haven't you?" Izuku said with a smile, more of a statement that a question, while Uraraka nodded her head vigorously.
"That's true. But very easily, my quirk can be used to kill." That took a darker turn than what others may have been expecting. "Soe of you also may have powers that could be dangerous. In our superhuman society, all quirks are certified and need to be regulated, so we can often overlook how unsafe it could be."
"Please don't forget, if you lose focus or make the wrong move, your powers could be deadly. Even if you're trying to do something virtuous, like rescue someone. Thank Aizawa's fitness tests, you have a solid idea of your quirk's potential, and because of All Might's combat training, you've likely noticed how dangerous your powers could be when they're used against other people."
