Chapter 10: Separated battles

"Oof!"

Well, that hurt. Could have been worse. I could have fallen onto sharp rocks or something. Part of the landing was softer than the other... and was so cold. I groaned, but cut myself off when I wasn't the only one.

My eyes widen, my cheeks suddenly feeling slightly warmer as I looked down at the reason my landing wasn't as bad as it could have been.

"Todoroki san!" I gasp in shock before regaining my composer. "I'm sorry, are you hurt?"

"No... I'm fine. But if you were to get off of me, it would be appreciated." He said staring into my eyes, his lips pressing together in a firm line.

Right! That would be a good idea.

I quickly collect myself, taking the liberty of grasping his hand in my own, helping him up. Not that he wasn't capable of getting up on his own or needed any help, I just- I sound like Midoriya...

After mentally shaking my thoughts, I realized we were the farthest thing from being alone.

One of the villains whistled. "Well hello, ~ sweetness. Why don't you just make your way over here so we don't have to mess you up too bad?" I mentally scoff. That was a very poor attempt at flirting. But what do I know about that? My only references are Midnight, movies, and books.

And what- besides my feminine figure -gives these fuckers the impression that I'm sweet?

"Well hey there~ Wow, aren't you fellas a couple of stacked studs." I purred. Some seemed a little awestruck, others had expressions that screamed 'rapist.' "It's a shame that I'm not interested in criminal scumbags who are basically twice my age!" With that being said, I deiced to release the weird energy that was buzzing inside of me. Electric sparks shot out of my hands and followed the ground towards them, electrocuting them all. The charge coursed through their bodies.

Well, that's new.

"Well, you quickly took care of that problem," Todoroki said, coming up right beside me. "That was also new."

I decided to ignore his second comment. "Don't think to celebrate just yet, more are on their way," I said guardedly, feeling the presence of people and new power levels drawing near.

Just over the mountain tops, more villains appear, but also from all angles. Todoroki and I stand back to back. As they closed in on the too of us, he and I looked at each other and nod courtly.

Let's do this.

Elsewhere throughout the USJ, each of the students warped to a new location each had their own battles and problems to deal with. While Todoroki and Akio were in the Landslide zone, taking villains down left and right with ease. Bakugou and Kirishima found themselves in the Ruins Zone, in one of the crippling buildings surrounded by 6 villains.

Momo, Jirou, and Kaminari found themselves in the rocky terrain of the Mountain Zone. Momo created weapons for her and Jirou to use as they also found themselves surrounded.

Mashirao was alone in the fire zone, surrounded by both flames and enemies. Tokotami and Koda were left in the downpour zone back to back. Surrounded by 7 villains, while the harsh rain and wind blew.

Midoriya, Tsuyu, and Mineta were safely in the boat of the shipwreck zone. Minate; weeping a boatload of tears as many villains surrounded the boat in the water. But have yet to make their move.

While the remaining student was with 13 at the central plaza, left with the warping smoke Villain. They assigned Iida to try and run back to the main campus, to alert the other pro heroes. That was easier said than done.
