Not letting him tell class 1-a twice, we lined up to get our new gym/training uniforms before heading out to our respective changing rooms. I was a little iffy being in the changing room with the rest of the girls in my class, but like always, I'm left isolated. Tch.
They- not just the girls but the whole class aside from Broccoli and Sunshine - mish have gotten to class early and had the chance to talk, and get familiar with those they will soon call friends and classmates. Ew.
I was the muted oddball out, not in any clique, nor have I spoken a word. So I found myself in one of the corners, shielded by the lockers, changing into the blue uniform with the white stripes. If you look at it, you'd realize the white around the neck of the shirt is like a boxed U and then more stripes that even continue to the pants, making a boxed-like A. Bet lousy All Might came up with that. So original...
Even though it was loose enough that it didn't show my curves as much, I still felt my hands snake around to cover my torso.
I was the first out of the changing room, heading outside as Mr. Aizawa told us to. As I left the building I heard someone whistle, followed by a cringy seductive purr. Without turning my head, the only person in sight was a boy with purple and black odd-shaped hair.
He's like 3 foot 6! He's shorter than the average 7-year-old. I couldn't help myself from snorting at his stupid behavior.
Resisting the urge to vomit or send him flying through a wall, I just leave the building. If I'm right, we're going to be using our quirks. That's when I'll show him that I'm not the type of innocent girl to b messed with. I'll fucking send you flying to space.
Sooner or later everyone finally made it outside, lining up. I made sure to keep my distance, but not be too far to have anyone asking questions. Mr. Aizawa then explained why we were outside, in a simple sentence, and straight to the point.
"What? A quirk assessment test?" the class enquired in unison, which is pretty freaky if you ask me. Of course, I didn't join in on the cult behavior. I was just trying to suppress my nausea right now.
"If you really want to make the big leagues, you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies." Mr. Aizawa said with his back turned to us. "Here as UA, we're not tethered to traditions. That means I get to run my class however I see fit."
"You've been taking standardized tests all of your lives. But you never got to use your quirks in physical exams before. The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day, the ministry of education will learn."
He then faced the obnoxious ash blond from before. "Bakugou, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam. What was your furthest throw with a softball when you were in junior high?"
"67 meters, I think.: He said rather calmly with a dull lifeless tone.
"Right. Now try doing it with your quirk." Mr. Aizawa said, pointing to the white circle drawn on the dirt. "Anything goes, just stay in the circle." He indicated with little instruction. "Go on... You're wasting our time."
"Alright mad, you asked for it," Bakugou said stretching his pitching arm, warming up his muscles. The way he threw the ball was intense, with explosions trailing behind it.
So explosions are his quirk, huh?
"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities." Mr. Aizawa said as Bakugou's ball fell down from the sky. 'It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero." He showed us the scream with the meter gauge on it.
