Chapter 13: Hospital

"16...17...18...19." The head detective of the police force counted, making sure that all the students were present and accounted for. "Everyone seems to be here and unharmed except for that boy whose legs were messed up, and that girl who was unconscious."

As this went on, multiple police officers escorted chained, quirk-dampened villains into their police vans.

"Ojiro," Toru said as she placed a gloved hand on his shoulder, getting his attention. "I heard that you were a really good fighter. I had no idea that you were so strong!"

"Yeah... I didn't know that I was the only one on my own." He smiles nervously. "I survived using hit-and-run tactics. So where did you end up fighting, Hagakure?"

"The landslide zone." She answered, pointing at Todoroki whose back is turned from them. "You wouldn't believe how strong Todoroki and Akio were, they were amazing!"

"You don't say? Well, I'm just glad you didn't get hurt." He said with a smile before it dimmed a little. "She may keep to herself, but she's insane, taking on that bird thing by herself? That thing was capable of killing All Might, right?"

"Yeah..." She nodded, though he couldn't see it. "I hope she's ok. Her suit was pretty torn up."

'I didn't even know she was there... I could have frozen her.' Todoroki thought to himself, after discovering that Hagakure was with him and Akio in the landslide zone o the USJ.

Todoroki's pov:

I couldn't stop thinking about Akio. While Midoriya and All Might were taken back to the school, 13, Mr. Aizawa, and Akio were taken to the hospital. What she did was so reckless, yet brave. It was terrifying to watch, yet astounding. I didn't want to watch, yet I couldn't look away.

Flashback:

She had just finished defeating the Nomu, the surge of power being so immense and unbelievably strong. Kirishima made his comment about how the end of the battle was like that of the end of a video game.

She was tired. That much anyone would have gathered after a battle like the one she's experienced. But I recognized this from the way her chest had risen and fallen. But then began to fall. My pulse quickened as she dropped from the sky, unconscious. She exerted herself, going beyond her limit.

Before she could drop to the ground, All Might appeared, catching her in his arms. He had given his price, saying that they -the villains- were defeated. Their secret weapon is annihilated, and they have lost the fight. That the pro heroes were going to show up any minute.

As he was giving his speech, he walked over, placing Akio in my arms. Entrusting her to me. Parts of her costume were slightly singed, and other parts are torn. Her hair was a mess, her jaw was bruised. Her lips split. The lower half of her suit was torn, exposing her mid-drift which was so dark, I wasn't sure if they could have been considered bruises. She'd be lucky to not have any if not all of her rib cage shattered.

End of flashback:

"Detective," Asui spoke up, hopping towards the adult. "What about Mr. Aizawa and Akio san?"

To answer her question properly, he had called the hospital, putting his phone on speaker for us all to hear. "The bones in his arms are splintered, and he's got facial fracturing. Fortunately, there doesn't seem to be any serious brain damage. But his obturator foramen has been almost completely destroyed. We have no idea if his eyesight will be impaired once he's healed up." The doctor spoke of Mr. Aizawa.

"Ribbit..."

"Not his eyes." Mineta cried.

"And Akio?" I question, loud enough for the man on the other side of the phone to hear.
