After that, we continued on with our assessment test. Poor Izuku had to fight through the pain, doing the rest of the tests with the broken finer. The last three tests were the distance run, sit-ups, and the seated toe-touch.

The only one I used any actual power on was the distance run, slightly moving the wind in my favor. Sit-ups and stretching are part of my training regimen that I commit myself to and do on a daily basis.

Hell, I'm a human and I can still do all sorts of weird things, bending myself in all sorts of angles comes to me with ease. Mr. Aizawa didn't even let me bother with doing that test. He called people up by four, and I was stretching myself in the back corner of the classroom, doing things to keep me occupied while I waited to be tested and to take my turn.

One thing many were in awe of, if not disturbed- wondering how I hadn't snapped my spine- was when I bent in half and stuck my head through my legs at ease... Hence the reason Mr. Aizawa didn't bother testing me during the toe-touch

Now we all stood outside, with all the tests completed, we now stood there waiting for Mr. Aizawa to give us our results.

"Alright, time to give you your results. I've ranked you all from best to worse- you should have a good idea of your standing already. I'll just pull up the whole list. It's not worht going oer each individual score." With that said, Mr. Aizawa projected the hologram.

Hanta Sero 16th

Denki Kaminari 17th

Kyoka Jirou 18th

Toru Hagakure 19th

Minoru Mineta 20th

Izuku Midoriya 21st

I was proud of myself for getting second place, not that I'm surprised. But I couldn't bring myself to smile, even just a crack. Something else was on my mind... How did Mino-perv manage to get one place above Izuku!? I'm sorry, I demand a recount!! Cause I doubt he scored more points than Midoriya! The dude is 4 feet tall and has literal noodles for limbs!!

Izuku looked crushed. I felt bad.

"Oh, and I was lying. No one's going home." Our teacher said closing the projection. "That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests."

"WHHUUAAAAT?!"

He's lying... I can sense it.

"I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out. I'm sorry, I guess I should have said something." Everyone looked at Ms. First Place - Momo Yayorozu - with a blank stare that said 'Yeah you should have.'

Though that's what she deduced, she was wrong. Mr. Aizawa was going to expel the last placing student. This just means he sees potential in Izuku.

"That was pretty nerve-wracking, huh?" Sero questioned, turning to face the spikey redhead.

"Nah, I'm always down for a challenge," Kirishima said with a clenched fist, smirking.

"That's it, we're done for the day," Mr. Aizawa said as he started to walk away. 'Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. Read it over before tomorrow morning."

"Midoriya," Aizawa called out, walking towards Izuku who had just let out a relieved sigh. "Take this to the old woman and have her fix you up, things are going to be tougher tomorrow when your actual training begins. Make sure you're prepared."

And that was it, everyone headed back inside to change. I made sure to be the last one out of the female changing room, then headed back to class to get my copy of the course outline.

As I left the building, I heard someone all out my name. Turning around, I noticed Mina Ashido - Pinky, and Toru Hagakure - An invisible girl.

"Wait up!" Toru exclaimed, waving as she and Mina try to catch up with me.

I'm not letting that happen, So I bring water droplets around me to bend the light to make myself invisible, the two of them slow down and frown.

"Awe... I just wanted to say hi." Toru said, possibly sulking with a pout. "She was so cool during the quirk test!"

"Maybe she's just why?" Mina offered, sounding unsure.

Yeah, just go with that. As long as it makes you keep away from me.

~~~
"Mom, Mama, Sister!" I call out as I close the door behind me. "I'm home!" I heard footsteps rushing towards me as soon as I finished talking.
"Ooh~ How was your first day, bean?" Mom asked, a huge smile on her face. "Did you have fun?"
"We had a quirk test, luckily I was always normally around the last 2 or 3 to go up, so I had quite the view. Number 2." I said with a closed-eye smile.
"I expect nothing less, you've always made the top of your class," Mama said with a proud look on her face. "But you know you don't have to keep pushing yourself so hard."
Lucky for me, as long as I'm not borderline failing, they don't mind all too much about my grades. As long as it gets me my diploma and a job - if I decide not to become a hero that is.
"In fitness, there are no shortcuts. It involves immense discipline and hard work. I intend to work hard, you know that." I said boldly.
"Of course. Now let's get food into that stomach of yours before you pass out." Mom giggled just as my stomach began to rumble.
I just grinned, and though this is one of the drawbacks, I also can't help but think of it as a blessing. I get to eat countless amount of meals meant for 2, and not gain any weight. Every girl's dream; is to stuff their face as much as they want to, and now gain a single pound.
As much as I personally love my quirks, my only real drawback is how I've been treated throughout the years.
