The sun slowly peaked over the crest of the land, the woods were filled with life. Animals passed on, careless and unafraid. It was quiet and untouched.

Suddenly there was a sharp whistle as a grey feathered arrow flew by, hitting dead center on the bark of a tree.

There was a mocking laugh. "Did you even try to aim for the deer at all." Reckon mocks, resting his bow on his shoulder.

Arianne softly glares as she makes her way beside her father-in-law. Daemon offers her a smirk. "Leave my daughter alone, she's just begun her lessons." Daemon states, turning to Baelon and motioning him forward.

Baelon sighed, rolling his shoulders before lifting the bow, keeping his eyes on the target, the deer was still peacefully munching on the grass. "My lovely wife is a horrible student, she screamed at me like a banshee when I corrected her." Baelon teases

Arianne scoffs. "Excuse me, my love, but I was raised with spears and daggers, not bows and pretty harps." Arianne mocks

Daemon chuckles, his eyes meeting Aemond's annoyed gaze.

The Royal party had gone out to hunt, and even the wives joined. Alicent and the other wives were with their guards, fans up to their faces.

Baelon finally let the string free, the arrow flying across the field, hitting the deer straight between the eyes.

Daemon whistles impressed. "You have an excellent teacher." Daemon compliments. Baelon scoffs, lifting an eyebrow. "You're the one who taught me." Baelon states Daemon smirks. "I know." He teases

Reckon chuckles before he looks over to the princes, who look on with boredom. "Why don't we give Prince Aemond a try? I've seen his skills with a blade, let's see how good he is with a bow." Reckon asks, making his way over and offering his own.

Aemond eyes it distastefully. "I appreciate the offer, but I have my own bow." Aemond states with a sneer, motioning towards his squire, who automatically runs towards him.

Arianne slowly rounds her husband, eyeing the two princes. A smirk was placed permanently on her lips.

Baelon couldn't keep his eyes off of the prince, admiring the way his slacks fit him in all the right places, he was delicious.

"I don't understand boys and their little competitions." Alicent piped up, she stood beside Rhaenyra, her hands neatly folded in front of her. Rhaenyra hums in agreement. "Daemon and Baelon are constantly at each other's throats back on Dragonstone. It's adorable, but after a while, it gets rather dull." Rhaenyra states

"More like annoying." Luke mumbles

Baelon sends his brother a playful glare. "Forgive us mother, but it's just a bit of healthy competition between boys. We do want to prove our worth to the woman in our life." Aemond states politely.
