When Lucy woke up, she found herself lying on the bottom step of the stairs in the lobby.
Every inch of her body ached, and there was a banging in her head that made it hard for her to focus.
"Lucy!".
Lucy blinked hard as the world around her came into focus, and she saw Five running towards her.
"Good morning" slurred Lucy.
"Jesus Christ, I thought you were dead" said Five, as he sighed in relief.
"I'm pretty sure you would be able to sense if I really was dead. Since we are twins" replied Lucy.
"You're probably right".

"Can you keep the noise down though, my head really hurts" mumbled Lucy.
"Sure" grinned Five.
"What's so funny?" Demanded Lucy.
"You. I never thought I would see my good sister, who was too angelic to drink alcohol, end up hungover"
"You're mean... Eugh, I feel like my head is about to split in two"
"Yeah, I can feel how much your head is aching. Sucks to be you".

"Stop being so smug, and help me up will you" instructed Lucy.
Five reached out and pulled Lucy up into a standing position.
"I feel like I'm going to be sick... How come you don't look like you feel as bad as I do, when I'm pretty sure you drunk more than me last night?" Continued Lucy, as she clutched her stomach.
"Practice. I have experience drinking heavily, and you don't" reminded Five.
"I guess that's true. You didn't end up falling asleep on the bottom of a staircase like I did, so you must handle booze better than me. I don't even know if I started at the top step and fell down in my sleep, because my body certainly feels like I did. But that pain could just be from all the dancing I did last night" replied Lucy, as she stretched out her aching limbs.

"I didn't do as we as you think, for I did end up passing out on a kitchen work top" revealed Five.
"That sounds painful... Eugh, I think this is the first time I've ever had a proper hangover, and I hate it" groaned Lucy, as she massaged her temples, in an attempt to rid herself of her terrible headache.
"It'll pass" reassured Five.
"I doubt I will have time to get over this before we all die horribly. How much time do we have left anyway?" Questioned Lucy.
"Judging by the size of the Kugelblitz, I would say a few hours"
"So, this is our last day together?"
"It would seem that way, yes".

"Have you seen the others?" Asked Lucy.
"Only Klaus and Ben. They were passed out on the pool table, when I saw them, while on my way to find you" answered Five.
"It seems like we all ended up sleeping in pretty uncomfortable places last night. I guess that's what happens when everyone gets shit faced. Although, I have to admit, that you were by far the drunkest last night"
"Please don't remind me about all the embarrassing things I said when I was drunk, because I didn't mean any of them"
"So, you don't love us all, and think we are one big happy family?"
"Absolutely not"
"I thought not".

"Speaking of family though, someone is working with dad, and they are up to something sketchy" revealed Five.
"What do you mean?" Frowned Lucy.
"Before I passed out last night, I threw up into the plant pot outside dad's room. His door was slightly ajar, so I could see in. He was making a deal with someone, and since we are the only people left in existence, it had to be someone in our family" explained Five.
"But you didn't see who it was?"
"I can't remember. My memories of last night are fuzzy".

"And you don't remember what they were talking about?" Questioned Lucy.
"No. They were making some kind of deal, but I don't know what it was about. Dad said, I can't do this without you. But I don't know what he was talking about" admitted Five.
"Well, we all know that dad wants us to assist him with his plan to save the world. So, maybe one of our siblings has agreed to help dad force us into it" suggested Lucy.
"That was my theory, but I can't remember who it was".

"Well, we know that Klaus has been trying to get everyone on board with dad's plan, so it could be him. Ben is also very pro dad, so it could be him. However, since none of us really like this Ben that much, it's unlikely that he could convince us to do anything, as he is not our Ben. Sloane likes her dad, but I can't see her going behind Luther's back and siding with him over her husband. Allison hates us all right now, so it could be her. I'm pretty sure Diego and Sloane were too busy having sex last night, to join in with any nefarious plans, so I doubt it was them. And Viktor hates dad for hiding his powers from him, even if this Reginald is different to the one that raised us, Viktor would never side with him... Eugh, I hate the idea that one of our siblings would betray us, right at the end of everything, especially since we've all gotten so close" said Lucy.

"I don't like it either. But until we can figure out which one is trying to betray us, we can't trust any of them" insisted Five.
"How are you going to figure out which one it is, when we are running out of time?" Asked Lucy.
"I'm going to go and have a little chat with dad, to see if I can weedle any more information out of him about his Oblivion plan. And hopefully, I can get him to reveal who he was talking to last night" replied Five.

"Alright, but if you feel like the world is suddenly going to end, come and find me. I don't want to die without you by my side" admitted Lucy.
"Don't worry, I don't plan on spending my last moments alive, with that man. When the time comes, we will be together, I promise. We came into this world together, and we are going to go out of it, together" reassured Five.
"O.K. While you're talking to dad, I'm going to go and find Viktor. He doesn't have anyone else to be with, during our last few hours on this earth, so I want make sure he's alright" replied Lucy.
"Right then, I'm going to find dad, and hopefully I will return to you with good news"
"I'll keep my fingers crossed".
